This is super cool! It seems to me that it will be able to power a home off of an EV ALONG with any solar input. If the sun is out you maybe powering the home AND charging the EV with enough PV or not draining the EV.

I have a friend that has a home-made powerwall, a solar array, and a Tesla powerwall and they don't talk to each other.

This sounds like they're trying to solve that problem ^-^
