I understood most dealers have yet to get a single demo bike, and sales have barely been launched.
Most prospective customers have yet to see the bike, and many probably don't even know it exists.

That said, no way it'll be a success unless they cut prices by 30%, and most likely not even then.

There are few HD dealers that have brought this bike in for test rides for their employees! I spoke with an individual who had the opportunity to borrow the bike for a day and he said he wished it was getting more publicity for the exact reasons stated above, it's just not in the price range for many people and it does not seem like many people know that this bike is finally available for purchase. Hell, I remember seeing them text ride this bike years ago in NYC on the news and then it disappeared.

I hope they are able to push a few of the bike so we can get a taste of what it has to offer.

Energica has apparently just released the prices for their models with the 21kWh battery.  With more range, faster L2 charging and a lower price the ONLY advantage the Livewire has is that it is sold by Harley Davidson; other than that, I'd say Energica just buried this bike for good.

I'm going to just step in here (because it's not the Energica sub-forum) and say that sometimes, different bikes are for different folks, and this language of supremacy from the Energica crowd is disgusting and adds to reasons why I wouldn't buy an Energica.

I love my Zero, I have for 49,000+ miles now, but I'm seriously considering an Energica next time around. Both have pluses and minuses that I need to rank in importance to me. If you're a die-hard Zero fan, that's fine. But don't put the rest of us down because we'd consider an offering from another company. This ain't Ford v Ferrari here.

Oh yes, I can. I'm pointing out someone else's intolerance outside of their own subforum.

Energica fans are entitled to be excited about the manufacturer's obvious advancements, but they're not entitled to say they'll "bury" other manufacturers' models on those other subforums.
