Uses for electric motorcycles I hadn't thought of before.
« on: February 21, 2016, 02:46:12 AM »

A mobile camera platform for bicycle races.

Leading bicycle rides when you don't fancy pedaling.

Pace setting when training athletes. Just ride around the track.

Stealthy way of going for a midnight ride without waking your spouse or disturbing the neighbours.

Lots of other uses for midnight shenanigans...

Attaching a trailer and towing your kids around without gassing them. You could use a car instead...

Attach a rope and have lots of fun towing people through swimming pools without upsetting the neighbours.

Cheat at racing shopping trolleys.

Any others you can think of?

Quietly painting the road with lines of black rubber.

Riding through gated communities (private neighborhoods) without getting the security force called on you. :D

Missing person/animal search.
I worked a 15 mile segment of roads, trails, dead ends and driveways.
I could stop and listen anytime, and dart out after any sound.
I could crawl or sprint and change direction anytime.

Didn't find 'em - I said "search" not "find".

I hope your manhunt/animal herding wasn't too serious ctrlburn.

I've thought of another one: Giving joy rides at a village fete or suchlike. Lots of fun for the spectators as they'll be able to hear all the screams... [emoji6]

I considered being the pace vehicle for Triathlons that my Fiancee does. They always use these stinky Vespas or crap scooters that spew 2-stroke exhaust. Not great for the riders in front.

Dan (old UK Zero Rep) mentioned he was working on getting Zero's used for the London Marathon.
Sadly nothing came of it, partly due to the UK pull out in 2013.
