Review Metzeler Sportec M9 RR
« on: Today at 12:14:36 PM »

Short (very personal) review on the Metzeler Sportec M9 RR on my '22 Ribelle.

Grip is fantastic, tires feel very good and I cannot tell anything bad about them in this regard.

I was not able to make use of the tire edges as with other makes (Michelin, Dunlop, Pirelli...). That 'sissy stripe' indicates, the Metzeler is build for very high lean angles.

They were worn to 1.6 mm already after 4000 km. For reference: Michelin Power 6 lasted 1000 km more.
Ordered a second set and I am at 2000 km now. Again, I can already see that they will not last much longer than 4000.

The Metzeler are a bit cheaper than the Michelin, but not as much as to compensate for the higher wear.
