Actually, just yesterday it finally came to an end.
I FINALLY had to file a complaint with the state, they set up an appointment for me to go into the local DMV, where they talked to the supervisor to explain the law to them, apparently it changed in august of 24 and they still didn't receive the memo... or whatever the excuse is for not understanding ... the law !!!. The bike was totaled with a salvage deed, paid for that, then i had to go to another place and let them inspect it to say it is safe for the road, that was another 250 dollars, then had to go back and show them that and get a rebuilt title, which cost another 100 dollars. So, now, finally, I have a rebuild title on the Experia, the only difference between that and the original title is this one says, caution, this bike may have been involved in an accident and was totaled out by the insurance company. or some words to that affect, to alert the person you may be trying to sell it to, that it's not pristine basically.
If I wanted to insure it for comprehensive, or coverage beyond basic liability, the most i'd get for it in another wreck, would be the value i paid for it from the insurance company for salvage value, which was only like 3000 dollars. IMO, even at that, the battery alone is worth more than that, id have taken it apart to bypass the 'brain' to use it in my solar at home or put it in my track trailer as storage, since it can take huge in / out power it'd be perfect for fast charging and roasting my coffee. my bike trailer has 50 kwhr storage and 24 kw power it can put out. basically if shit hit the fan i could power the paddock to keep us all racing

(i wanna free track day for that!)
In all honesty, i can not see anyone ever insuring it for comprehensive ever again, they already know it's going to be an instant write off since the company is gone, and no 'official' comeback, no insurance company is going to say, oh hey sure, pay us 200 dollars and the moment you scratch it, we'll pay you 3000 and call it a day.
Also as a fyi, if you do have another accident on a rebuild, that's it, it's done, the bike is instant scrap and you'll never drive it again, you can not re - build, a rebuild. Also, just a pragmatic opinion, if you ever get into an accident where you are at fault, being it's a rebuild, if ANY question comes up as to the 'safety' or 'performance' of the bike contributing to the accident, being a rebuild, can be a liability for you. I ran into him because my brakes didn't work as well as i thought they should... regular bike, you *might* get some leeway for equipment failure, but try that on a rebuild.. umm yah.
A word of advice for anyone in Floriduh, if you have to salvage deed a vehicle and the insurance company does not do it for you, (more and more they are not anymore, because that's work they can now pass onto you, make you do the run around) go online and print out a copy of the current stature / legislation / law, it changed in august of 2024 to this, to show the people at the DMV, and if the clerk gives you any guff, just ask to talk to the supervisor and tell the super, call Tallahassee i think their HQ is, and they'll confirm that you are telling the truth... it might save you a bunch of running around, and having to file a complaint with the state and hours on the phone to get action.
