Those politicians in Wyoming have an interesting sense of humor.    The way things are going they might not have any gas by then to fuel their ICE vehicles as big oil cuts back on serving small markets in the future.  On the other hand, residents of Wyoming can always go back to riding horses.

Not sure I would want to own an EV in Wyoming anyway. Once you get off the interstates chargers are pretty scarce. Population density is pretty thin to so hard to justify chargers like you have on the east or west coasts. Check out Plugshare.

Resolution To Ban Electric Vehicles In Wyoming Dies

Well, I guess the GOP legislators thought it was worth a try, plus Wyoming received a lot of press with that draft resolution banning EVs.

Nobody seriously expected the bill to get far, did they? It was political theater against banning ICE, which I agree with. People will switch over when it's the right time. It's like when the government was forcing awful, poisonous CFL bulbs instead of just waiting for the market to solve the problem, which it did the proper way with LEDs. What we have currently with EVs is a huge ecological nightmare with a raping of resources and burning of gas and coal to run them. CO2 break-even for an EV car is typically 150,000 miles (for mine, 450,000 since I've gone through 3000 lbs of batteries).

Very true. Nothing in California is anything like the average U.S. state. Especially our weather and out politics.    BTW, after 2030 our one remaining nuclear power plant will be gone, its power output presumably replaced by renewals.
