I so very much want to be optimistic as well.  But how do you square this with their own statement on Facebook?:

?As we flip the last page of this wonderful book, we reflect on what we’ve learned, done and achieved in this decade (or more) of extraordinary things.
We started with an idea, we turned it into a concept, we made it a reality - and finally we made our way to you.
Week or weekend, workday or holiday, our focus was always there, brainstorming in search for new ideas and looking for the next step to bring us closer to the goal, sharing this journey of joys and challenges with all of you.
We cannot be prouder of what we’ve built and the impact we have made – and YOU have been our best allies and ambassadors as you showed there is a different way to do things, and how fun it can be.
For though our paths may diverge, the spirit of our adventure will forever resonate in our hearts.
THANK YOU to everyone who was a part of this remarkable journey.
Here’s to the memories we made together and the bright futures that await us all ?

Nearest dealer is 5.5hrs away.  No way to do the update at home, like with my Zero?

Actually, I had enough of it in my email. It’s just a part of the diagram, but it’s the important part.

There is a 10 pin black connector under the right tank fairing, this is where the left control plugs into the main wiring harness. That connector is not labeled but the wires on the bike side of the harness are all marked with micro printing. There should be a number of purple wires on that side of the connector and one black wire. This black wire is pin 6 and the one directly above it is pin 1 (grey on the control side of the connector).  This doesn’t go through the computer so no errors or faults are expecting. I’m going to splice the STS2 into the controls side of the connector.

I have not done my install yet so I cannot guarantee this info until I do.

I’m traveling now but I will. Sorry. Been a busy time for me and my family.

These offer superb visability and some drop protection.  Used them on several different bikes.  You need to specify the inside diameter of the bar for the correct fitting.

Those are very interesting. Thank you for the pointer.

Energica / Mirror paralysis.
« on: December 31, 2022, 01:39:06 AM »
The stock mirrors on my 23 Ribelle RS were only good for checking out my arms while I ride.  So I put the Rizoma Reverse Radial bar end mirrors on that I used to have on my Zero.

But then I damaged one and no one has them in stock.  They are also pretty pricey.

They provided much better visibility but I had to look down further to see.  I also didn’t like how they blocked my hand from coming off the handlebar toward the outside.

So I’m looking for new mirrors.  I don’t like the look of mirror extenders, or the original mirrors.  I’m looking for something more low profile, but can see something other than my arms.

It seems like whenever I find something I might like, it’s not available with M8 left and right threads.  I’ve been scanning the web all day. I almost purchased the Rizoma stealth naked mirrors, but holy crap are they pricey.

This bike seems to demand better mirrors than what I can find.  Something that suits the styling of a high tech Italian street fighter.

Has anyone found better mirrors?

I’ll be bringing the bike inside for winter storage soon and doing the install and video then. Too cold to do it now and have some family things taking precedence.   I will update this thread.

Not saying not to do it if you are able, but keep in mind that other aspects of the bike not be up for the higher speeds and torque.  Brakes & tires, for instance.

Your good to go.

I had email contact with Mark Nest and Miha Kovac from STS, the webpage says it does but they say it is not

I spoke with Chris Paz (Energica Support Manager for US) and he says it will work and gave me the wiring information I needed.  The turn signals do not go through the computer so there will not be any errors thrown and the wiring is fairly simple, once you know which wires to use.

I'll be doing the install soon and attempting to record it and make a youtube video for the process.  I am NOT an expert on this and it will be my first time doing it.  But from what I can tell from Youtube, I think everyone will be used to that.  :)

Energica / ST2 Turn System??
« on: September 29, 2022, 04:25:17 AM »
I’ve been told by one person so far that the ST2 Turn System is incompatible with Energica bikes. I’m really hoping they are mistaken. Has anyone successfully installed one?

Energica / Re: Stands and cover
« on: September 13, 2022, 05:38:09 AM »
The rear stand and cover come with the bike, Ribelle RS. I added the front stand to my order from Energica directly. I did not work with a dealership.

I’m very sorry to hear your story. I was hoping to use all three items for storing the bike this winter.   Guess I’ll need a plan B.  A year is insane, though.

For those that were supposed to receive the rear and front stands and an indoor cover for your bike, how long did it take after bike delivery to get them?  And where in the world are you?

I've had my bike a couple of months now and no word on the stands and cover.  Just wondering how long to expect?  I don't want to bug Tom or Laurence in case they are in Italy.  Thanks!

The difficulty using electric motorcycle accessories on electric motorcycles still makes me chuckle.  So many things expect to be wired to a 12v battery.  Seems like electric bikes should be able to easily provide a bank of fused 12v electrical connections, some live when bike is on,  some always on.  But that’s where we are right now.

So I’m thinking of hiding something like this: Mini UPS Battery Backup 20000mAh Uninterruptible Power Supply for Router, Modem, Security Camera with Input DC Output USB 5V DC 5V 9V 12V 3A https://a.co/d/91gnJ7g somewhere on my Ribelle and powering it from the 12v going to the USB adapter.  Or with a fuse tap.

Then I can hook up accessories to the 12v output for a constant 12v. It’s expecting 12v from a plug in charger so the 12v from behind the usb should work fine.  And it puts out a constant 12v which should satisfy the Innov.

What do you think of that plan?

Hey sonofanakin, After you calm down, can you post a pic of what came with the RS, Cable, cover, stand maybe. Hell the whole bike. Congrats!

It has arrived!  It came with a Welcome Kit box with the manuals, warranty cards, the keys, and a tool to adjust the preload on the rear shock.
They also shipped me a portable charger.  I chose the 110 volt.  I t came from Amazon and was this model: https://smile.amazon.com/MEGEAR-100-240V-Portable-Electric-Charging/dp/B097DX8BZF/ref=sr_1_2_sspa?keywords=megear+level+1+ev+charger&qid=1659635538&sprefix=megear%2Caps%2C111&sr=8-2-spons&psc=1&smid=ASIYMWBVZG7J0&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUExV1hTU0lTMlQySlUyJmVuY3J5cHRlZElkPUEwNDkxOTIzMjA2WkQxSDJaWlk0VyZlbmNyeXB0ZWRBZElkPUEwNzkwMzE0MVZMMkZQQkpXSEdUMyZ3aWRnZXROYW1lPXNwX2F0ZiZhY3Rpb249Y2xpY2tSZWRpcmVjdCZkb05vdExvZ0NsaWNrPXRydWU=

The stands and the cover haven't arrived yet.
