Just an update.  My FXE was just short of 15k miles when I put it away for Winter!  I've had  NO problems with it since my last post.

My dealer is only stocking the new little Zeros.  He had a 2023 DSRX and a couple others, but they have disappeared.
He has done well with the Starks and sells a lot of BMW's and Beta's. Some Aprilia's Guzzi's and a few Vespa's

Heated handgrips is a bit overrated IMO.  I have them and yah they feel nice on the BOTTOM of your hands, but the wind blows over the top so only half your hand is comfy.
That is why you should pair heated grips with hand guards. Cut the windchill.

I use these on all 3 bikes. Hand guards are required. Can move them to a different bike in a minute. They stop the water and cold before it hits your gloves.

I flogged one last summer for about 30 minutes trying to keep up with the dealership owner. It was a blast! They have a new 2023 for $9799 with the premium package and I have been tempted. We'll see

How much for the carburetor?

Hey TRex !  Ya, I think my issue was also solved by the update. I was afraid to say anything. Didn't want to Jinx myself !

Have only put 600 miles on it since, and have shut the key off probably 6 times in the middle of rides so far.  I also did a 2hr charge the other day with the onboard charger and the fast charger at the same time without an issue.  I'll slowly break the habit of leaving the key on when I stop during a ride, except for out in the woods.

The bike is a blast to ride, and I'm now very happy with the purchase.

Best of luck to you and everyone else that bought one !!

I have these on my FXE.

Single Point Mount products are not designed for impact protection. If impact protection is required, choose from our TWO POINT MOUNT options.

I have been using these to keep my hands warmer and the rain off. They work on most bikes with hand guards. Can switch from one bike to another in a minute !

If you're going to install heated grips on the Ribelle see if you can get some barkbusters or similar to keep the cold airstream off your hands otherwise there's basicly no point.

These work great but require handguards https://obradvgear.com/enduro-grip-mitt/
