Very very interesting, thanks so much!
I'll try to look up that kind of motor then, haddn't realised the issue at all.
I've found this one that is for 428 chains : https://www.aliexpress.com/item/33006768419.html?spm=a2g0o.detail.1000060.1.281f7b4eA98c0t&gps-id=pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller&scm=1007.14977.161853.0&scm_id=1007.14977.161853.0&scm-url=1007.14977.161853.0&pvid=8f2aded8-1527-41da-9645-4993c3cd6045&_t=gps-id:pcDetailBottomMoreThisSeller,scm-url:1007.14977.161853.0,pvid:8f2aded8-1527-41da-9645-4993c3cd6045,tpp_buckets:668%230%23131923%2312_668%23808%236395%23424_668%23888%233325%231_668%232717%237562%23442

@TheRan, thanks but it'll be out of budget I guess, I want to keep budget low for a first try of something that'll be more a toy than anything else ;)
ps: I should stop hijacking your thread ;)

Hmm, I have roughly the same goals, maybe a bit lower. Range could be 20 to 30 and top speed at 80Km/h / 50MPH
I plan to run a chain directly from the motor to the existing (or a replacement) wheel gear.
I have no idea about which number of teeth & ratio I have to go for but plan to adjust later.
My main goal is to have a working, good looking electric base, perf will be tuned afterwards.
