I have the OEM turn signals that were "take-offs" when I upgraded to LED turn signals. You guys can have at no charge except for my cost to box and ship.

This bike has been sold on 7/12/2025 I have a 2020 SR/S Cerulean Effect (Blue) located in Sacramento, CA.

The Premium model of the SR/S comes with dual 3.6 kW onboard chargers which enable quicker charging. This model also comes with heated hand grips and cruise control. The  bike has 4,242 miles with a recent Annual Service including Brake Fluid change completed 5/8/25.
 
Optional Equipment includes a 3.6 kWh Power Tank ($3,100) to enhance range. So equipped, Zero claims a city range of 201 miles, highway range of 103 miles and combined range of 136 miles. Other options include a Center Stand and LED Turn Signals. The bike is pre-wired for a Garmin XT2 GPS (mount included but easily removed). The bike also comes with a TurboCord portable charger which allows you to charge the bike from a 110-volt household outlet if needed in a pinch.

This one owner electric motorcycle has well cared for, stored indoors and most importantly, scrupulously charged by Zero recommendations! This last point is probably the most critical for long battery life. I love this bike but I’m just not riding it enough to justify keeping it.

I’m pricing it to sell quickly for $7,450.

I only recently noticed that the registration cost for my 2020 ZERO SR/S was disproportionately higher than my new 2022 BMW R1250RT. The registration fee for the ZERO was $267 while the same fee for the BMW was $159. The BMW's final out the door cost in March of 2022 was higher than the ZERO. The ZERO was purchased in March of 2020. Is the CA DMV applying a different formula for electric vehicles to compensate for the loss of fuel tax revenue? I would understand if that is the case but I was not aware that they are doing this.

Thanks SHAG, It does help somewhat but the bike shown is an SR/F not an SR/S and the fairing pieces are different below the tank cover. I did learn somethings but if someone here has removed the tank cover on an SR/S and can explain which additional fasteners exist I would be most appreciative.

Is there a YouTube video on removing the tank cover on an SR/S? I need to access the 12V accessory connector in order to tidy up the wiring for my GPS? My Garmin XT GPS has a rather bulky power supply/converter that would be better off hidden under the tank cover. Thanks for any help.

I took my 2020 SR/S Premium into the dealer for an overdue annual service plus brake fluid change. They naturally updated the firmware and bms. I was surprised to see the new dash design when I picked up the bike. Very different! It will take some getting used to. I had also updated the app on my iPhone when I was unsuccessfully attempting to update the firmware myself. So I guess I am good to go, until the next upgrade.

Tried turning off cellular data and got about 60% of the firmware download before it failed again. Big improvement but still failed in the end.

Decided to come on here to see why my update attempts to Version 26 keep failing. This is not my first rodeo. I have had my bike since March 2020 and have done all my updates myself at home in my garage. Same phone, same wifi, same everything. Something is not right here.

That is good to know about adding the spacers to the rear LED turn signals. I will look to see if I got spacers back with my old turn signals.  It would definitely look better with some gap, even as little 1 - 1.5 mm. Thanks!

Parts, Mods And Hacks / Corbin Tail Tidy for SR/S

I found a tail tidy kit from Corbin (the m/c seat people). It also adds a small fender and eliminates the unsightly factory license plate holder. The new license plate location is between and below the rear turn signals. It looks good in the Corbin website photos. Has anyone on here installed one on their SR/S?

Good news! I uncovered the bike this morning and prepared to try and correct the problem mentioned above. I turned the bike on and was pleasantly surprised to see 100% state of charge and 100 miles highway range, not the 15 mile range I was seeing yesterday. I don't know how the problem corrected itself, only that it did.

Tech Help / Zero SR/S Firmware Update Issue

I did a firmware update yesterday to version 19. After the firmware update, I charged the bike to prepare for a ride. I noticed it was charging at a much lower than usual rate. I have a Premium model SR/S with the dual chargers. OK I thought, new battery management firmware was part of the upgrade so maybe it is conditioning the battery or something. I check on the bike later and it had stopped charging hours sooner than it had originally indicated it would take. The state of charge is 100% but the range is only 15 miles!

At this point, I should add that I had recently had a Power Tank installed by my dealer. There had been no issues with the bike following that installation other than I was underwhelmed by the negligible improvement in range, if indeed there was an improvement. I was somewhat concerned that the bike was not utilizing the added battery capacity but at least it was charging normally and I was getting around 90 miles highway range.

Any thoughts?
