I had this the other day whilst I was doing 40 on a dual carriageway. I lost all power and freewheeled to the side of the road ready to stop. Then it suddenly cleared and I was able to accelerate away again. Weird! I spoke to someone at Zero and they suggested that some rain had got in somewhere, seemed plausible as it was raining at the time. Anyways, it hasn't happened again.

Do you have a picture that shows where the problem occurs??

No, sorry I don't but I believe the water gets in at the bottom of the bike as it's sprayed up by the front wheel. That whole area is an achilles heel that needs waterproofing properly. As I said Ivan seems to have done a good job sealing that area now.
The other area is under the seat where the 12v battery is. be very careful when washing the bike not to spray any water around that area. I did that a few years back and the bike was back at the dealers for about a month afterwards whilst they fixed it (new battery, new wiring and a new LCD screen!)

Zero really needs to up their game in the software department.  The bike's software is sketchy.  The app is almost useless.  Firmware upgrades other than at the dealer are frustrating at the best, impossible at the worst.  My "connected bike" shows it is not connected 99% of the time.  For cutting edge tech, my SRF's software features feels like it was designed by amateurs.  Maybe Zero needs to invest some of the money they are getting from all the bike sales into getting a better software team.  Sorry about venting my frustration but I just spent the last hour trying to update my firmware from the app and got no where.

Totally agree - bike is absolutely from the 2020's and software is still back in the 90's. It's laughably bad :-(

My SRF hasn't updated SOC on the app (android and ipad) since v17, I've kind of given up on it.
It does show location though now and again when it's in a good mood

I’ve also had a lot of issues with this app. When I first bought my srf in 2019 it worked brilliantly.
Now the list of things it won’t do is growing, it won’t even show state of charge remotely now which I think is a basic requirement of the app.
Does anybody have full functionality of the app at all?

I’ve had the same on my srf since new. I think it’s normal and sounds like a whale call lol.
It also seems more pronounced when the belt is wet.

It’s such a shame that although I can set up lots of custom riding modes on my srf, I can only assign one of them to my bike with the app.
For example I have a city commute mode with max power/torque and max regen. This is great in the city as I hardly need to touch brakes to slow down and I regen a lot of battery power back too.
But on the motorway I want max power/torque but I want the regen set to zero so that when I take my hand off the throttle the bike doesn’t slow dangerously. Ideally I would be able to swap from city mode to motorway mode live as I was riding but because I can only choose to add one custom mode to the bike this is not possible.
Unless I am missing a trick somewhere?

I have to say I had a vectrix as my main commuter for a few years and its regen was perfect.
Although my srf is good with regen maxed out I still can’t come to a complete stop with it like I could with the vectrix.i used to commute through central London barely touching the brakes.
Other things missed are the reverse gear (as you mentioned), I’m amazed that isn’t on the bike as it makes backing out of a tight parking spot so easy.And surely very easy to implement with an induction motor.
And I miss having the rear brake on the left handlebar. No need to be using our feet now is there, once gears are a thing of the past?
