I patiently waited for news about Energica with solid state batteries. Fingers still crossed.

Ok so the Brutus with the exposed Tesla battery modules is a hard no for me. Someone made a 30kWh bike but they shouldn't have.
Moving on.
llukas, I think we've seen these types of articles before. We know how they work and it is what it is.
Damon is not in production at this point and don't claim to be for about another year. The article just gives a little more info on the bikes and the company. The fact that Bill Roberson had at least rode the test mule bike with Copilot and Shift at least shows these aren't merely design goal ideas but working in the real world over a year ago.
The author used the Zero as a comparison maybe because he had not ridden an Energica. I don't know his back ground just passing alone some more info on Damon.
But one point about Copilot, it's part of an AI system not just a blind spot warning radar. Again just like Tesla they want to map bad intersections and crowded roads to add data to their cloud.
Can't see why the manufacturers would care overmuch. We saw what happened / happened not, when CA did their emissions controls on ICE motorbikes back in the day. Mostly the rest of the US yawned...and in LA we bought outside CA.
It's not like you established proof of anything ......
My dear, twas not I making false assertions.
The burden of proof is not upon me.
Please provide prof of your claim.
I also attended Calmoto event and have different impressions about Energicas. I expected them to be heavy, based on what I read earlier, but it didn't feel this way at all. I'd even say it didn't feel heavier than 790 Adventure I use. I also sat on SR/F and didn't remember it feeling lighter - Energica has overall way better finish (I had deposit for SR/F but passed on it).Welcome to the forum! What time were you there?
SS9 has a comfy upright position.

Don, Energicas are big, heavy, and not designed for anything but sport-bike posture and weighting.
