Buy Sell Trade / FS 2019 Zero FX 7.2 in New Jersey

2019 Zero FX 7.2 for sale in New Jersey. Second owner. Title in hand. 744 miles on the odometer. Color is Sand. Aftermarket accessories include windshield, rear luggage rack and lighter plug for electric accessories. Great bike in excellent condition. Selling to make room for another ATV. Price is $7,500. I used a magnetic tank bag on the rack of my Yamaha XT250, but I threw the tank bag in as part of the deal when I sold it. However, I did come up with another idea.  I have a DeWalt tool bag that provides between 10 and 15 liters of storage and has rigid plastic rails on the bottom of the bag.  I tried mounting that on the Zero rack, and it may suit my needs.  It stays nice and compact when not in use but gives a decent amount of storage if/when needed.

I had a Sig Sauer pistol box bolted onto my rack for a while, but I've decided to change things up.  I've been looking at plastic construction boxes at the home improvement stores.  I haven't found anything I like yet.  Most boxes are too big for my needs.

The 29L version gets some poor marks for a difficult latch system. The 30L topcase seems to be designed a little better for a little more money. I wanted something around 5 liters, but the rack is too small to accommodate soft luggage that is not really small. I am considering purchasing the GIVI z113c mounting plate just to give the rack more mounting surface area.  I wish PMC made a rack for the FX.

Hi Everyone.  I bought the Zero OEM rack (2019 FX), but I did not get the GIVI top case because it is too large for my needs.  However, the OEM rack is almost too small to be useful by itself.  The base is about 5” long by 8.5” in width.  I would like to add an extension plate. Any thoughts on where to get one?  Thanks in advance.

Hi. I have been trying to find a decent windscreen for my 2019 FX.  I've done some searches on this forum and see that the screen for a DS might work, but it wasn't definitive.  Another post made reference to a company outside the US and I live within the US.  I usually get parts for my other bikes at Revzilla and would like to get a windscreen from there as well.  Any ideas?  Thanks in advance.

I did the trade in over the weekend.  I am astounded how much I like riding the Zero.  The MT21's are my first choice on tire change, but the stock tires are great for around town riding.  Decisions, decisions.

Hello Everyone. I am new to the e-bike world. I always promised myself that if I ever went back to street bikes, it would have to be a Ducati.  It has been a great bike, but after a year of ownership, I have decided it is better for my health to stick to the trails and dirt roads.  The Supersport is not made for either. After I bough the SS, I picked up a couple of Yamaha dual sports and was reminded why I like off road riding so much. I was also looking for something to ride in the trails of the Poconos.  A lot of people don’t like the noise of the off road vehicles, so I am hoping to pass silently and inoffensively through the woods with the logical choice, the FX.  I picked up a used 2019 with 450 miles for $6,500.  No tax due to the trade in, and the discounted price helped offset the beating I am taking on the trade in. If I like the FX as much as I hope, I will add the chain kit, bark busters and knobbie tires.  Cheers.
