Thanks Richard230 for the post and photos. I just replaced the charger on my 2017 SR at 7k miles! $900 arg! Mine was making nasty noises, smelling bad, then popped the 20 amp breaker in my garage.
Has anyone looked into starting a complaint with the NHTSA?

If the failure rate is really that high I would think they would look into it.
Add +1 if you have reported so we can see how many it takes for the NHTSA to get interested.
