I think it looks great. I read somewhere that it had a 3.5hour charger option but in that video it's not on the bike apparently. That would be the only reason for me to upgrade from my FXS, I can't believe they did not do that.

To the people breaking belts over speedbumps, I have no idea how you do that. I JUMP mine over speedbumps almost every time I ride and it's still on the original belt.

Did anyone modify an Fx or FXS to have the brake lever on the left hand? I've been riding the bike a bit more on trails now and I'm starting to think I would have more throttle control that way. I ride my bmx also with a left brake only, so it would also feel more natural.
Any levers out there that would work? I have a brake bleeder, would be a pretty easy mod no?

They are rain tires, it's been raining endlessly here. I'm not too worried about wear, I won't be riding them hard long enough to overheat them untill about June and then I might swap them back.

The bike is actually a 2019, it fits easy. Yes you can get other heidenau tires in the stock size, but I wanted these because a lot of Supermoto rider rave about them and I wanted a wider front anyway.

After a few months of terrible weather and a few close call with the stock tires, I've decided to swap them for some softer compound Supermoto tires. I'm posting it here because pretty much everyone said it wouldn't fit or work. I called with Germany to check rim sizes for the tire, as it only comes in 160/60 17 and they were very helpfull. They said the front would fit but the rear rim was a quarter inch too narrow.

The bike shop told me it would not fit, and zero told me the Abs would not work with larger tires.
I decided to take the gamble anyway, as conditions are so slick here that I'm spinning the rear tire going straight sometimes at 60% torque settings.

Good news, not only does it fit without cutting anything the Abs also works. The tire does not look that deformed at all and has a nice round profile still. The steering feels a little bit slower to tip in, the tire also feels heavier in the front especially. Bit grip on cold wet roads is much much better. My commute is only 10 minutes so I had trouble getting the pirelli corsas up to temperature.

I do not recommend messing with your bike as it's probably not safe or legal in your country, so disclaimer if you crash and die its not my fault. I just wanted to post that this does fit as there are not many other Supermoto tires for our bikes out there.

I also replaced the daylight driving lights with w5w LEDS from Philips. These are actually a little too bright for my taste, and it would be better if the lights were slightly lower in the housing so I don't recommend that for now untill I find a better fitting bulb. You can see the white fitting on the small bulb above, that sticks out into the reflector housing a bit so a slightly smaller bulb would have been better.

Installed the Morimoto, it's too long for the standard rubber cap. It does actually fit, but just. And because the light gets pretty hot I prefered to just cut the back of the rubber cap completely open to allow the fan to do its' job. I'm not sure how waterproof this is, but the light itself seems fairly robust  and it's hidden behind the light and under the plastic a bit so it should be fine. If it fails I'll just replace the bulb and 3d print a more waterproof rubber cap that is larger and vented. The driver is ziptied to the housing, that's waterproof anyway so no problems there.

You can see how bright the low beam and daylight riding lights are, make sure you adjust the beam to the correct height to avoid blinding people. Don't be that guy with the aftermarked LED that is annoying to other road users, it can be done properly with the right bulb and adjustment.
