High end motorcycles are enough of a niche as it is, so electric ones might as well be unicorns. The economics just don't make sense for Ducati to start selling something resembling a V21L right now but I'm optimistic that some breakthroughs will happen within the next 5 years or so. Until then, I'll keep enjoying my Energica.

I wish we had Level 2 charging stations like Europe where the cable is provided by the user, not the owner. This cuts down on installation (and vandalism) costs.

I've done a lot of hard riding and DCFC sessions in the Georgia summer (90F-95F) and the battery indicator never gets worse than yellow. My bike has the smaller battery so maybe it rejects heat better than the 21.5kWh ones.

Sadly, social media addiction affects older folks even worse. So before you go and yell out, 'those darn kids these days!', know that Gen-Xers were exposed to a lot of lead as children.

The motorcycle industry as a whole is struggling right now. Gen Z thinks bikes are too dangerous. KTM is in trouble which is a shame, I owned a Husky 701 which was an amazing dual-sport.

Giampiero blamed Ideanomics for closing the tap on Energica, causing the bankruptcy. He also said that he's hopeful another investor will pick Energica up.

You may see an initial drop in the first couple days or so but the car will go into a hibernation mode of sorts. It's very important to not open the Tesla app while it's in long term storage as it'll wake the car up.
Teslas must be left plugged in when gone for a month. My Chevy Bolt will not lose a single SOC during the same time that my Tesla will drop 30 SOC, when both not plugged in.

I can't speak for the BMW ce 04, but Tesla's cars have enough energy to spare for periodic cell balancing throughout the day, plugged in or not.

I had some issues with my bike's battery 2 years ago as well, it took a while, but Energica made it right.

At 8c ambient temperature, your battery will be cold but not cold enough to restrict its capacity. At that temperature, you'll have a reduced power output or DC fast charging rate until it heats up but it has to get close to freezing to protect itself and lock range out.
What's more at play with your range reduction is simply colder days are more dense than warmer ones. You and your bike have to fight against the thicker air.
