Did you get this sorted out? Since there is no support for the older bikes I chose to scrap the oem bms and mbb (whatever that is) and go with proven aftermarket parts that have diagrams and support. I can give a list if needed.

2K is a lot unless battery was replaced, I doubt an original would be very good at that age. I bought one a few months back for half that with a dead battery. I junked the "proprietary" electronics and upgraded to a modern Alltrax 500A controller and 60v nom Used ev battery. It rides nice and can hit 55mph. Mine has the first motenergy motor they used, if the one your looking at has the pmg132 its worth it for sure, way more potential.

Hi all, After riding my 09 Zero X for a few years without any similar bikes to ride with, I found a group of Sur-Ron owners who were up for the task,, of racing !!! One of them sponsors a vintage scrambles series at the infamous Glen Helen raceway. The races are NOT on the natl track, but on the very wide and smooth truck track to accommodate the vintage bikes. I thought for sure my 16hp zero would smoke the smaller surrons but it was not to be. I placed third in each moto

Hi Ya'll , Ive been wanting to get a zero fx7.2 used. they're hard to find ppl must love em. so I found this site and started looking at videos, and the second video I watched was fx on mountain trails by 05raven. I was shocked because those trails are right behind my house and not for the faint of heart. What are the odds?? really??? 05raven is pretty dam brave to take a 290lb bike with street tires back there.. Kudos to my neighbor. Anyway heres a vid of when I first got my basket case 09 zeroX running. same trails plus some of the extreme single track. yes those are big cliffs at 5 min in. enjoy
