Zero spoke about the SR/F, they originally said the name was for StReet Fighter ;)

So i guess that new one must be a StReet Sucker... :/

« on: December 16, 2019, 10:59:45 PM »
Just updated the app, i went to the history thing in location tab. (iOS)
I can't have something working with more than a few days, is it normal ?
If i put a few months away to see all history, not working...
For the last days it's great !

EDIT :
I was wrong, i just realize that every day you select add the daily trace to the map.
I found that the activation on my bike tracking system was done a few days after i had it, that's why i couldn't sync the zero app with the bike.
I had the bike on August 3 and the first point in the middle of nowhere is on August 10

Yes they need to link your vin to you account.
I had the same trouble when received mine, i had to wait until zero did something, it's not something you can do on your own ;)

Last night James D from the FB group reported that he installed the newly available firmware update and now his bike will not turn on.
I did get notification that the update was available but chose not to apply it.

Mostly I wanted to post this here to maximize the discussion and information sharing.
Has anyone here applied the update that was just released?  What were your results?

Why did you copy/paste this topic ? : https://www.electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=9575.0

And for information there is already one revision update after that one, everyone can do the updates.

4% is a lot of energy, almost 600Wh !

AHA!  Don't know about the SR/F, but I do know that when my cellphone is searching for a signal, the battery drains faster than when it has a steady signal.  In spotty areas if I need the battery to last, I either shut it off altogether or put it in "Airplane Mode" for that reason.

SR/F battery pack equals around 1440 iPhones... i think it can loose the signal without a massive battery drain :)

Same for me, i just checked and even connected to BT nothing changes in the app.
I let the bike do the new update right now... we'll see.

It's a bit hidden, go to 3rd tab "Prestaties" in Dutch, where you configure dash options and ride modes. Then scroll down to "Firmware-updates", it's below Dashboard options. There it normally just shows the current firmware version.

Unless there is a firmware available then it will show the version of what's available and requirements. And on requirements check there is the "start install firmware" option.

:o Nothing about firmware for me there, "Ride Modes", "Dashboard Settings" and "Motorcycle Logs", nothing more  ::)

Maybe i have to change language to Duch to make it appear  ;D

@Hans2183 how can you find that info ?
I never found that in the app...
Yesterday the bike asked me for an update, but in the app i can't find any info of firmware

@ben.m: I'll make you a "custom" option in that spinner where you can just give a max range number yourself and that will calculate with the current percentage.

Don't waste your time for that, when you know your bike it's useless to have a tool to estimate the range  ;)
And we have to let our brains do a part of the job  8)

For sure i know that range is subject to a lot of things. But after almost 4000 kms on that bike i know it enough.
I tried a lot of combinations in the app, i can do only half the estimated range, whatever the combination.

Actually the circle is pretty good for me and the estimated range is way too optimistic.
Try to post attachments to show you.
It shows me 48 kms with agressive/hills/cold, in real life i can do less 40kms with very conservative driving, 20°C and almost flat road with these 31% left ;)

Just downloaded you app yesterday, and a major update this morning, on iPhone.

Great job ! Continue that way.
The only thing i noticed is you calculation is very very optimistic ! Your estimated range is twice the reality range.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Charger failure indication on SR/F
« on: October 28, 2019, 10:07:08 PM »
In fact I'm asking this because I'm charging at work on a EVSE which has domestic+22kW type 2 sockets. It happened that it charged sometimes at 22kW, but generally it's at 3kW. I did not try another EVSE since august. Maybe I should. However, my question was to be more precise, are there any errors that could be found in the SR/F diagnosis sofware?

It's just not possible to charge at 22kW ! The maximum is 6 without CT.
