Energica / Re: Portable CCS Testers needed
« on: July 11, 2019, 01:36:29 AM »
So you give us a box that has various potential adapters on one end to plug into whatever wall (110, 240, NEMA***) or charging (level 2, 3, ChaDeMo, CCS) outlet we're going to plug it into and coming out of the other side of the box is a combo plug that fits the inlet on our bikes that we use for CCS charging?  And this works because the DC charging port on our bike isn't limited by onboard charging hardware?

Energica / Energica Model Years
« on: July 09, 2019, 10:07:43 PM »
I've seen it implied in a few places and an attempt to explain it in a facebook post, but none of it got through my thick skull.  I bought what the dealer was calling a 2017 Energica Eva, but someone said it was actually a 2018 based on how VINs in the US are issued.  Can anyone explain this to me?  Is my bike 1 year older than the newest bikes on the dealer's floors or 2 years older?  Does Energica refer to them as a different model year than the dealers in the US do? Talk to me like I'm simple and dumb so that it's clear to all who might read this.

Thanks,

Energica / Re: High mileage Energicas

Congratulations on your new bike!  Morgan's comment on you possibly having the first EsseEsse9 in the US got me wondering how many Energicas are on the roads in the US currently.  I've only seen a few Zeroes in the wild and don't expect to see another Energica for a long time.
