Has anyone here had their Zero serviced by Hollywood Electrics? Is it done in house or do they farm it out to a third party?

Replacement tank lid looks much better!

Off topic: What bar-end mirrors are those?
Is that a crack on the tank? (just under the lid)

Rizoma Reverse Retro Bar End Mirror. They're great, and installed easily over the aluminum bar ends.
Went and checked the bike - no cracks.

Mine does this as well. I don't know what the sound is, but I don't care for it. The brakes appear to work fine, but it is not a reassuring sound.

It certainly seems that way.
My SR/F arrived last week of July and I was Group C!

Great pics!

Agreed, that is a custom tank on Cory's bike. I'm sure somebody smarter than me could fabricate a less bulbous version.

In an effort to reduce the pregnant/gobbler look I am considering trimming the plastic piece as was done on the Pikes Peak SR/F.
Any thoughts on whether exposing the controller heatsink poses any real risk?

Does anybody know the color paint code for the motor/plastic piece where the footpegs attach?

I had my tank apart, and there really isn't a great way to perform a DIY fix on this either.  There isn't an easy way to shim the pivot points down or anything.

Would you mind doing a walk through on how to remove the tank?
I intend to remove it, and have it painted shortly after mine arrives.

So, June has come and gone.
Anybody in Group A not have their bike?
