Energica / Any hints on US expansion this year?

They still are too far away from me, metro Atlanta, to consider buying one, so I am curious if anyone has heard anything? I could handle Chattanooga or maybe Birmingham but North Carolina and Florida locations are a bit too far.

Not sure why WOW feels the need to keep Zero happy, they cannot be that big of a seller of them with the infrequent inventory on the site.
Marietta area wise I suspect the only good dealer would be Wooly's but their showroom is already filler between BMW and KTM. The Indian dealer down the street carries quite a few three wheel brand vehicles offset the poor availability of Indian models. The issue there is showroom size and Polaris having some deal with Zero. The only other option is for Mountain Motorsports to pick them up.
Going East BlueMoon already has Zero which I always found fun as their other main brand was Ural.
I would likely own an Energica EsseEsse by now if there was a dealer near

thank you for numbers, I have been interested in Zero motorcycles off and on and the SR/F caught my eye but damn if numbers never add up for me. To me EV motorcycles are still trapped in what I term "Leaf Gen 1" stage, such a cool technology but not executed properly yet. I have at least one more gasoline powered motorcycle in my future and hopefully by the time I put some substantial miles on it electric motorcycles will be in a much better place

At least give their dealers something official to tell customers and if they have customer contact information they should have emailed them already.
For me, I am just going to skip the SR/F this year and probably going forward. If they cannot do the simple things like common courtesy communications why would I trust them to be there when I need them. Well that and if the 6kWh charging really is just 2x3kWh then what is the point of that setup?

« on: June 01, 2019, 07:21:09 PM »At least Zero is not doing what BMW typically does when they introduce an entirely new model. They love to start selling their new bikes during the middle of winter, when most people's riding season is over.
*waves* - I am waiting on the new R18 tour motorcycle which is expected to debut later this year. The concept they released a video for was gorgeous and now has me wanting to see the tour chassis they put it in

I won't justify a purchase by my commute, I have a TM3 which I am more than happy with and it pretty much eliminated even my desire for a convertible because of the glass roof and that all convertibles that I like as gas powered
. Still hasn't ruined my desire for a good old fashioned twin.I originally was interested in the Zero because I like the technology but its not ready for rides i like to do solo and not at all with rides I do with friends. I have two circuits I like to solo ride but both are very much edge cases in mileage and I don't care to restrict myself, the rides with friends can be full day affairs and no EV motorcycle can do that.
So I am still waiting for authoritative reviews on what the SR/F range actually is

Would love a confirmation that Zero has blended braking, the term applied when the brakes first engage regeneration before the pads even move.
Blended braking is probably the only feature I miss from my Volt that is not on my TM3

well I did not really see any extreme riding on his part, most of my routes have highway sections to get to fun roads but even those roads are 45 to 55 mountain roads. So yeah, we have range optimized for city riding with a motor and chassis that says keep it out of city.
still going to wait for other reviewers to chime in, I won't be test riding till the last week of the month.
