I did a boo boo and dropped my Zero S, not very fast but I ripped the left front indicator off and left foot peg off.

I literally pulled away  (it was a bit cold and slippery) and the bike high sided me, and broke my collarbone.

Just a note, the exact same thing happened to the guy i bought my S from - your description of what happened is almost verbatim, including the fractured collarbone.

He had to have a pin put in his clavicle, and being aa newlywed with an expectant wife, he was under orders to sell the bike 'or else;' I got it with 350 miles on the odometer.

Due to a total lack of use, I am selling my 2021 S; bought it in 2021, and it has mostly sat, covered, in my garage since - basically a new bike.
I keep it at 80% charge to give optimum battery life. Driven conservatively, 80+ miles full charge range.

Maybe I'm missing something here, but rather than actually shortening the shock, all the updated spring perch does is reduce spring tension and increase sag (depending on preload adjustment).

Just dropping the front forks turns the cornering handling to crap at lower speeds (oversteer), and does not increase the rake when braking and the rear shock is unloaded enough to top out. The added sag would increase rake due to spring tension and not mechanical compensation under regular shock loading conditions.

If an internal top-out spacer/travel limiter were installed internally, the spring perch would bring the spring rate back into stock range, and increase rake back closer to stock. Another alternative would be to reposition the mounting point(s) of the standard shock, but that would take altering the swingarm, frame, or both; a last resort.

I have little choice but figure out how to drop the seat height; after a very major lower back surgery, it is all I can do to get a leg up far enough to get on without a step, and I look like a drunk getting off. The bike is a '21 S.     

Heidenau tires run true to size, which is narrower than most popular brands. I run the Heidenau race compounds on TZ Yamaha road race bikes, and its easier to drag a knee than to get them to drift. The track Heidenaus wear more like a street tire, and better than Pirelli Rosso Corsas. I swear by 'em, not at 'em.

A basic Zero-to-60 acceleration test on a dyno does not include the entire mass of the bike, only the mass of the rear wheel, drive mechanism, and the rollers its strapped to. To apply Newton's Second Law of Motion, the magnitude of the net force must be applied as rolling resistance/load, or numeric calculation. Aerodynamic drag will also affect performance.
The numbers do seem a tad optimistic...     

The dealer in Phoenix said the demo will be delivered tomorrow (Thursday 5/2), and to plan on a test ride this weekend. I'm going to wait until next Tuesday morning so hopefully they don't notice how long I'm gone =)

I think Zero is smart to get a few customer butts on pre-delivery bikes to get feedback before final rollout - they are 2020s after all. The sales guy showed me the 'out-the-door' bill on a pre-order with all the bells and whistles; $24,700 (rounded) including tax and tag.
