So of course last night I went down and there was no problem with the power....
On that note can anyone explain exactly where the magnet should go on the stand in case this happens again?

Fully charged but when I bring up the kickstand it won't go. Still flashes like kill switch is engaged. I have turned on/off multiple times, kickstand up/down, flicked kill switch, tried sport/eco modes, moved bike back and forth, applied brakes.....I'm running out of ideas.
It did this a week ago right after I took it off charger but when I came back later it was fine. Chargers great so I'm at a loss.

We need more people to post off road adventures. I've gone pretty off road on my DS so much that I'm thinking of seeling it and switching to a FX. Would love to same one in a proper West Coast Enduro race.

Old man Jarvis I am not! Dudes a rock star. The guys out here do some enduro races that are reasonably technical and can go for 3 hrs but at fairly slow speeds. I'll have to see what his a G speed is.

Maybe I missed it but what kind of range are you guys getting off road. Like legit back roads and trails. It looks like most guys use there FX's as city bikes. I ride my DS on single track but it's just a bit to heavy for some stuff. I'd like to switch to a FX but don't see a lot of real data for off road.

I didn't realize that it wasn't hard wired. It just clipped out and I clipped a new one in. I still have to add shrink rap to weather proof though. Got the c14 and a new cord from a buddy so all it cost was beer!

My 2013 ds lost a prong on the inlet so I need to replace. I see that the 2013 has a different connection to the charger than 2014+. Can someone point me to a video or walk through how to safely change this out. Seems like a simple swap but I don't see a coupling to disconnect from charger so I'm a little confused
