Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Zero FX 2014 - reverse engineering the dashboard wiring

Hi all,
I have a FX14 and on a mission of building a replacement dashboard since mine has had gone bad...

I tried to compare my dashboard wiring to the diagram (2016 FX diagram by Keith https://zeromanual.com/wiki/2016_X-Platform_Wiring_Diagram) and found that the wire colors and numbering are not the same, I thought it would be similar except for the ABS light but it doesn't seem to be the case.

How do you figure out which wire does what for the dashboard?

I attaching pictures of the wires on the dashboard and the connector hoping someone might be able to help.

Turns out that a little cleaning was all it took, that little magnet on the stand was blocked by some gunk, it set me back for a week but no worries now, running as usual.

Took a towel and clean it throughly even though it didn't seem to be dirty it did the trick weird enough

It's a hall effect sensor, it's advised by the manufacturer not to short it's wires, plus it's three wires so it's not a standard switch

Hello,

I have an issue where my ZERO thinks the kickstand is down. I see error code 45 no matter what position I put the kickstand in.

I tried to figure out where do sensor wires go but could not find the connector in big ball of wires on the right side of the frame.
If anyone can point me at the right direction with some pictures that'll be great.

I also managed to connect with my laptop and open a terminal through the serial connection (OBD port) but I do not have the password for changing the settings, I have version 54 of the MBB firmware.
There's a safety override for the kickstand safety switch in the program but I can't change it without the password.
If anyone could send it over a PM that'll be sweet!
