I'd like to get 12V power out of the SAE connector near the head stock.  Simple enough right?  Only I want to do it with the motorcycle off, key out even.  I live up near the Camp Fire and now PG&E is being very cautious and they are turning off the power in the slightest breeze.  I am now powering my DSL router with my car battery by running a 12V line from the router out the window to the cigarette lighter power port in my car, which I'm able to park just outside my office.  However it would be even easier to power with the Zero's battery, plus I could run it for days, not hours.  Any ideas?  None of the Zero's fuses have power with the key off either.  In fact nothing seems to be 12V until the kickstand is up with the key on.

My router is important to me because I lose all communication when its off because my cell phone doesn't receive a cell signal, just WiFi from the router and of course the land line is dead as well.  So it's a safety issue; if a fire is headed my way I need to know.

I have sent a PM to a few of you, so please forgive me if I seem to be bugging folks.  I'm looking to buy a stock seat or seat pan for a DS, DSR, S, or SR.  My bike is a '16 SR, but they all appear to fit except the very early models like the 2011 and maybe the 2012.  I'm thinking there must be a few of you who have the old stock seats just taking up space so hopefully you'd consider selling it to me.

I'm putting the sale of this charge tank on hold as I'm not able to remove it in a timely manner.  Sorry.  When it is off and in my hands I'll repost it. 

I bought a lightly used (2,000 miles) 2017 Zero SR with the factory installed Charge Tank.  I'm planning on removing it.  It has never been used to my knowledge, I have not used it anyway.  It requires installation by a dealer, about $200 depending on your shop's labor rate.  SF Moto quoted me that much anyway.  It requires new plastic bodywork as well, altho I may be talked out of my red set that is in excellent condition.  New they are $2,295.  $1,500 or best offer.  It's still on the bike at this time. 

Yeah, well that, and to get all of the clearances within spec since they are engineered for normal operating temps.   Thanks.

I do have "luggage" on my ICE bikes; tank bags and panniers, but have been loathe to add them to the Zero.  Lean and mean, ya know?  I want to keep it "slick".  I'll keep noodling on it I guess.  Thanks for the suggestions.

I'm thinking the tube in the back of the frame?  Be nice to get some male plugs that would fit, perhaps even black ones...  Since the seat doesn't remove easily I don't want to carry it under there like I do with my ICE bikes.  Suggestions?
