Hello Everyone,
I currently work in production and development for electric bicycles, but I have always had a passion for motorcycles. A close friend suggested that I branch off on my own and start electric motorcycle company. Before eyes roll, I understand the huge costs to start a venture like this, and already have a few big investors interested in my idea, due to a unique design I have come up with that would cut production cost significantly.
All that being said, the world of electric motorcycles is foreign to me. I have reaserched the competitors that we want our motorcycle to be on level or better like Energica, Zero, and Brammo, but I am having a difficult time finding specs. I would be very thankful and appreciative of any help with motor/battery/controller specs as well as their casing dimensions (so I can do a more accurate CAD drawing). We definitely want to be in the same category as far as performance as the names above. 100mph and above top speed, and with new battery cell tech that has come out recently, I hope to match or beat the distances these competitors are able to travel on full charge.
Any help would be greatly appreciated plus any advice is always welcomed.
