Zero relased a firmware (MBB v35 and BMS v42) supposedly to solve the issue with BMS stuck in battery hibernation mode when powering on the bike, did you update to this latest firmware?

https://www.zeromotorcycles.com/firmware

The issue is that when BMS is in hibernation and don't wake up at key on, it does not communicate with MBB and you will get 0% battery on the dash due to no canbus communication.
Every day the bike do a BMS autoreset this is why the day after the issue disappear, if you want to do a manual reset of the BMS, you can remove for few seconds the B+ fuse from the left side of long brick battery (on FXS it's located under the rubber, a little lower than OBD connector).

Weird, my version number is 2.2.5, so more up to date apperently, but it was updated September last year.

Are we talking about the same app? Could it be their old legacy app, not the one called Zero Next Gen?

Reading the subject of this thread should give you a hint of what we are speaking about.
GEN2 bikes are the FX/FXS/FXE and S/SR/DS/DSR bikes so, the Zero app for GEN2 is not Next Gen app that is used by SR/F and SR/S bikes.
BTW you are correct, NextGen app version is 2.2.5 updated on play store on September 17, 2021.

On my android it shows last update in September and no new updates available.

This doesn't means that on play store there isn't a new version.
Version 2.1.3 have been updated on March 4th on android playstore.

I get the same file corrupt message when I try to update the firmware too - it's been like that for the last 3-4 weeks at least.  There's probably a different file for each model year, and one or more of them may not have been uploaded to the server properly.  I have a 2017 SR, if anyone has been able to successfully update the firmware on one of these to the new version, let me know...

Ulster Zero

I think it's more related to IOS vs Android as I had the same file corrupt error on my iphone but I was able to download it and update my MY18 FXS with my android phone. I tested both phones the same day.

Why you say "12kw charging tank from zero, backwards compatible with the 2021 bikes"? All charge tanks from zero are 6kw chargers. The new bikes (SRF/S) with 12kw configuration have 6kw charge tank + 6kw onboard chargers. The SRF/S charge tank is the same of the one you can find on S/SR/DS/DSR.

And up to now, a 12kw charge tank does not exist due to size constrain, with actual tecnology a 12kw charger is two time the size of a 6kw charger.

If you don't feel confortable with DIY way, you can contact Lennart Otten from Germany, he have a shop and he sell the 3.3KW external chargers, see this thread: https://www.electricmotorcycleforum.com/boards/index.php?topic=8087.0

When I updated my 2018 FXS the past weekend, the app did wrote "firmware update completed" at the end of the upgrade procedure, I didn't had to restart the app.
The only thing you should check is that the kill switch is engaged, otherwise the test at the end of the firmware upgrade will fail and you will have to restart the app.

The number is the total charge time in hours.

Do you have a source for that? Because if you're right then my bike would have only needed around 40 to 50 hours of charging time to cover the distance it has, yet the counter was around that at only 100 miles.
I record every time I charge my FXS various parameters and the charge time required. I just noted that the charge cycles on the app (android one) just match my total charge time.

Did the ABS speed sensors on the wheels are working properly? When ABS see a difference in wheel speed it activate and block or release the pressure on the circuit to control brakes. Maybe if it's happening on bumps, it's a wiring problem on the sensors that trigger the ABS and block the lever to avoid front brake to actuate.

Was just watching this video with subtitles enabled for italian and right about 1:15 mark to 1:26 mark, the subtitles say that Josef Morat (Country Manager Italia ZERO Motorcycles) confirming a faired version officially coming soon.

Maybe someone who knows italian can confirm :)

-Shayan
Yes, he say it's coming soon, nothing more.
BTW at this link there is a picture taken on the street somewhere in the US https://www.asphaltandrubber.com/rumors/zero-srf-full-fairing-spy-photo/

Why Zero thinks to be forced to go below 60 is safer, I have no idea. Sometimes this so-called safety  BS can get people killed.

Think what could happen if you are in sport at full speed and by accident (or consciously) you switch mode to eco or a low speed / torque custom mode. This can be dangerous.

I went into my garage and I noticed that my 2015 SR was showing 00 SOC when plugged into the onboard charger.

I turned on the Error display on the dash and I get the following according to the Unofficial Manual:

6 BMS Throttle Enable Wire Error - throttle
40 BMS Throttle En Wire Disable - Throttle
48 SEVCON Startup Disable - Controller
49 Contactor Open Disable- Contactor
25 Contactor Open Warning - Contactor
30 BMS CAN Error - BMS
57 Module Did Not Connect - BMS

Yikes! Any ideas?

Hello, I had it happen few times on my 2018 FXS, with similar but not the exact errors you have, I had the 47., not the 57.
I think the culprit is error 30: BMS CAN error that (at list on my FXS) lead to BMS going to hibernate status and not leaving it until CAN communication come back to life, during the communication errors all temperatures reading are not working.
In my case after few hours or a night, the bike exit hibernate state and powerup as nothing happened.

All (SR/F) bikes have self-cancelling turn signals.  It is not a time-based cancelling, it's distance and does not look at lean angle to detect the turn (at the time of this writing).  The feature is aimed to prevent running down the highway/freeway with your turn signal on after a merge with traffic.  The feature is not aimed to be used to replace manual cancelling around town.  It's a safety net.

ZeroBrian explained how it works on SR/F on the other thread.

« on: May 27, 2019, 08:51:58 PM »
I finally got it to work. The only thing I did different is set the bike up first with blue tooth icon flashing. Than I turn the phone app on. For whatever reason, it worked this ti.e and for the first time, showed correct charge and was able to change custom settings. I don't know if bike needed to be in custom mode to do it, but I always put it in custom while I was attempting so that part didn't change.
Thanks for all your help.
Alan

The flashing Bluetooth icon on the dashboard means that the motorcycle is in pairing mode. If you already paired it, you don't have to do it.
My 2018 FXS connect to cellphone only by switching it on and opening the app on the cellphone (with Bluetooth enabled) and after few seconds the Bluetooth icon appear on bike dashboard (still, not flashing) and the app start reading values from bike.
