It's hard to get a real value because it's value versus demand.  I have a 2016 Zero S 9.8 for sale for only $7500 but have only had a few nibbles.  I feel like most of these people buying Zeros are people upgrading and they all want bigger batteries.  So it is much harder to off load older models with smaller batteries or no R versions .

I bought this 2016 Zero S 9.8 in just May of last year.  Around 2000 miles.  Only reason I want to sell it I want to upgrade to an SR.  I found the bike I want to bike so that's why I'm selling cheap.  Changed factory mirrors for bar ends.  It currently has a custom paint job, but I'm going to transfer the brand new red plastics from the 2017 SR I am buying.  So you get a 2016 with newer and better 2017 plastics.  No accidents, great shape, no firmware problems.  Just want to accelerate faster.  Light nimble bike.  This is about $3000 cheaper than any 2016 S with the 13 battery.  Save $3000 for a difference of about 15-20 miles in range if that.  My pics are too large so email for pics if your are serious.  Originally yellow, now sort of a biomechanical theme in greys and greens.  But putting it back to red.
