that kind of storage is a few million dollars.
tesla has trailers basically  2 mw storage/ 1 mw output for 1.5 million each i think they are. hook to the grid and they are plug and play.
maybe have a row of them with a 50 acre solar farm behind them to charge when it's sunny, grid when it's not. just charge 80 cents per kw/hr for the electricity, the truckers won't mind at all, they are already used to paying high fees and taxes for their diesel

I just did a 53 mile ride on the Can-Am and 60 cents a kwh is almost exactly the brake even number assuming 53mpg for an ice bike.  There seems to be a line of thinking among the battery electric vehicle cheerleaders that users will happily pay whatever for dc fast charging.  You just said 80 cents for the electricity then add the road tax.  It is kind of meaningless the cost for a motorcycle if you look at tires, clear visors for the helmet cost risk for a mishap and on.

I presume the bike has been approved for the season.  Every other entrant has a brand that I am familiar with.  These don't say Zero or Energtica.  It is lf1 or something along those lines in the results I saw.  Supposed to be production based.  There may be a reason, but it would not seem unreasonabnle for some grumbling.  It generally is the protests start when the winning starts.  Years ago, I welded up and then machined the insides of Yamaha Rd 400 heads to replicate dg aftermarket heads to quiet the complaints in amateur hillclimb.

Today's update is I got a recall notice in the mail.  Best as I can tell for 2027 models they were calibrating the anti lock braking doing really hard braking and managed to snap the part that holds the caliper.  The supplier is KYB which on the USDOT web page is said to have an address in Tiawan province of China.  It states 398 models released into the US market and the place I got mine still has one (actually only one Origin and 2 pulse, pulse uses different shorter smaller diameter forks).  I was wondering if that thing might snap off if one fell over and it hit a rock.  There is a part number called out but it isn't on the parts sheets, I guess it is the aluminum piece at the bottom of the fork that holds the axle and brake and fender.  There is a support additional kit that is the remedy.  They use Jjuan brake maybe kyb made a special run?

Otherwise, I noticed I can't get on the bike turn the key and roll downhill and get going.  Have to come to a stop to get into drive.  Probably similar if some joker reaches over and turns your handlebar kill switch like I see on Youtube.  I have not experimented fully, but it does take quite a while to get it on after using that handlebar kill switch at a stop just like the KTM battery bike.

I am past 1000 miles and showing over 100 kwh on the evse I use most often.  It costs $0.29 per kwh (plus 9 something to be hooked up) when I examine my Eversource bill.  The place I use to make it safely to the bike club and back only charges $0.25 per kwh and if I us their rfid card which cost $5 there is only sales tax no 50 cent fee if using my smart phone.  Need to fund a wallet to use the card.  That might be noteworthy as last time I was at the bank they had a sign all day Sunday cards won't work because of system updates.

LOL, that's the understatement of the century.  I think the last numbers for the Livewire is 653 sold in 2025.  That's over all four quarters.

With background music.  I watched it on mute.  Do you need a vin# to get an insurance quote?  Are they going to have parts.  Cake from that general part of the globe needed all their parts to assemble motorcycles, I understand no replacement parts they went under, but I was able to go online and get their parts breakdown with parts numbers.  They are not doing sign up for a demo ride, apparently.  Demo ride for deposit holders.  I could see renting one for a day.

I did not know someone with a YouTube account can post videos that do not show up when you click on their "home page" and then go to videos.

I started viewing their shorts on youtube, just scroll down and more keep showing up, half is other stuff YouTube throws at you but the shorts are pretty worthwhile for a break from world affairs.  I am not sure but there could be some stability issues.

Kind of on a tangent not even related to the Pulse or Origin.  I bought a Yamaha GTS1000 years ago.  It is the sport tourer they imported for 1993 and 1994 with the single sided front suspension, ball joints and a splined shaft going up to the handlebars.  Well Can-Am has recently obtained patents for something similar.
