Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: FXS 3.6 Modularity?

Check out https://hollywoodelectrics.com/collections/zero-accessories/products/deltaq-quick-charger-for-zero-motorcycles

"The Quick Charger can be used to charge power pack modules when removed from the motorcycle. The ZF2.8, ZF3.3 or ZF3.6 Power Pack Modules,
used with the Zero FX, Zero FXS and  Zero XU motorcycles, require the Power Pack Module Charging Adapter when the power packs are charged off-board."

If this was on Jalopnik's "Nice Price or Crack Pipe", I would vote Nice Price!

And there are many others like me who use their Zero for everyday commuting and don't care about 0-60 or quarter mile.  On weekends, I take back roads and just enjoy the quiet ride.

Nothing flat earth about using a Zero where it is ideally suited!

I've had my 2017 DS for about a year and have had no issues except initial brake noise that went away after seating the rear brake pads and a few washes.
I love the quiet ride and the torque!

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Re: Updated app on Android
« on: February 06, 2018, 11:44:52 PM »
My iPhone Zero app was updated automatically yesterday.  I'll update the MBB firmware on my next visit to the dealer.  It would be nice to update the firmware from the app!

I have a 2017 Zero DS ZF13.0+PT.

I have a 2017 Zero DS ZF13.0 and requested my dealer order a Charge Tank on 8/29 when I purchased it.  I received a voicemail today from Zero Customer Service saying they stopped taking orders for the Charge Tank on 8/22 and they had no stock for the 2017 and older models.  They could not discuss any upcoming product changes until the official announcement.  Zero told me the new Charge Tank is not backwards compatible and is only available as a factory-installed option on the 2018 models.

I'll be taking a look at the Diginow v2.

The parking brake is available as an accessory from Zero.

Zero also sells a Brake Lever Lock, but I prefer the Grip-Lock.  It locks the throttle and allows you to use the front brake lever as a secure end for a heavy duty lock cable.
