I like the giant loop saddle bag thing, it can take lots of weight, even strapped on external. It's easy to keep tight and stable through the tube in the frame, looped 'round the bracket

The pics are of a big bag of dog food held by the top strap, and a 18pack of rolling rock in the side pod, you can fit one in each side and a 12 pack in the center if you really wanted. It comes with 3 dry packs which have come in really handy as liners in my other commuting backpack.

this is the smaller of the 2 bags of this type they make, the bigger one may fit even better as the U shape is a bit bigger and might fit over the seat even better..

My commute is 35 miles a day round trip atm, I could if I was careful do 3 days on a charge - just barely. but getting home with 2%-4% is a bit nerve racking still.. funny, I brought my fast charger on day 3 when I left with less than 27% (need ~32% to be comfy not driving careful) but forgot the J1772 adapter grr. lucky I had my regular cord with me, so i just went and ate a footlong while it slow charged up to where I could get home with 2% - an extra 1:20; the sub shop with free charging is another 5 miles added to the round trip since its south and I go north =P

or I can plug in every night and not worry at all. The fast charger is great for road trips though.

OT - I know that a machine shop is working on a satellite antenna that is embedded in the roof of the car for a self driving car from a major manufacturer.

I've been thinking about other things that they could use that for, I bet the car could be a hotspot on whatever networks (Bluetooth, WiFi) they want for passenger verification with a phone even away from cell networks, assuming a smartphone of some sort with a encrypted key that was downloaded when they hired the car.

When I lowsided some guy came up and grabbed the throttle to lift it and highsided it onto the other side. Grrr.

I was thinking there was a intermediate firmware update I didn't install and that was the reason. Perhaps not though... I just saw that go to the dealer the other day for the first time.

Obviously they've got it figured out, with a 0-60 time of 1.9 seconds!
