Buy Sell Trade / Re: FS: 2017 SR ZF13.0

The difference is the SR has a larger electric motor, so it's much faster...much faster.  Most would agree that driving the SR in Eco Mode would be the driving experience of the S model.

We moved, need the cash for expenses. Haven't had any issues at all!

Good point about the warranty, Jaime... that's important.
Also notable about the firmware updates. These are important things to consider, and I'm glad I asked!
Thanks again, all.

Another difference between the two years is the 2017's are painted now whereas the earlier models were plastic colored molds, if I'm not mistaken.

As far as I can tell, it will be the first one officially sold in the US into private hands...  I am not sure if that is a good thing.  :)

I have been given a ETA of about two weeks.  They are making some modifications to the bike (at my request) and then will ship it to my local dealership. Here it is in San Francisco

Hi @mousejstr,
Well, how's it going with the Evo? I'm especially interested in highway mileage and what you think of the DC Fast Charging!
Best,
Dan

Or buy a trusted used '15 for a lot less (ahem, I got mine for sale listed here and on eBay) ;)

If this were a ICE I wouldn't hesitate buying a two year old motorcycle. But it's my opinion with something as electronic as a Zero, the latest model would be the best bet. The dealerships can't/don't deal much on these bikes either.

This makes me pause and reconsider if I should buy a 2017 Zero or not. I have concerns, I really do.

Puig universal windscreen
SRich,
As suggested by @Kocho, does it move or need adjustment after highway speeds?
Did it require any modification to fit properly?
How about a pic from the riders point of view!
Thanks!
Dan
