@Seeth, I've also had a LOT of riders pull up and want to chat, some more pushy about helping themselves to my time than others.

I always try and do my part if I can spare a few minutes though, fly the electric flag.

Surprising how many people pick up that it's an electric straight away, without knowing Zero exists

Could be good news for the EV crowd.

After the amount of money that VW is being forced to spend on clean tech (and not allowed to self promote!), it may spell some infrastructure upgrades in the future.

Bit optimistic to think that they'll actually do something useful with it, but we can dream...

Since I got my Zero three weeks ago I've driven a car once. Commute every day is 52km (30ish miles) of mixed riding, some highway at 110km/h.

Filter through the city, which is a dream on the S compared to the DR I had.

Costs me about 20% charge a day which I'm pretty happy with considering my S is bog standard.

I'm lucky here that the Brisbane climate lends itself to year round bike commuting, so I can't see myself going back to petrol. That in itself is a great feeling.

Hi all,

Been lurking for about a month, while I was on the fence about going electric.

Let me say firstly that this forum is an amazing resource for people that haven't quite made their mind up or are simply curious about EV's, and the slightly under-represented (at least in Australia) electric motorcycle scene.

After reading about 80 pages deep to try and give myself a reason not to, I pulled the trigger and took delivery of a 2016 S yesterday, spent the last 12 hours sitting in the garage admiring it (wasn't game to give it a squirt in a massive storm).

So thanks again for everything you put out, it got one more ICE off the street.
