I have these Koso Apollo installed. I just carefully filed the grip on the throttle side so it seated better. You will have to use grip glue to keep them in place. I used the old trick of hair spray but it was not enough after summer temps came along.

Any fat or 1 1/8th bar will work but there are 3 holes in the original bar that will not be on any non-Zero after market bars. I think only two are actually required. I think this is in the non-official zero manual. You will need a drill press to locate the holes properly.

I installed a ProTaper EVO Adventure 1 1/8" Handlebar Adventure low bend which is almost exactly the same shape as the OEM just a little wider but you can of course cut them.

You might want to look at the high bend of this bar. Kind of wishing I had gone that root.

My install of Cycra Ultra Handguards (the ones that really do not come in black... just black stickers). Koso heated grips and MFA generic windscreen. Last shot shows the tap done on the end of the handlebar to use the screw type connection instead of the clamps that come from Cycra.

It is a NACA duct because there is too much drag created if you do not try to redirect the air as opposed to forcing it all to the outer edges.

Easy Fred... even if not for everyone you have to respect the engineering. I am glad Honda gets past prototype and all the way to market with limited releases like that. Shows a passion for engineering like you see at KTM and Ducati as well. To each his own and I would like to see one in person myself.

I have both adapter plates and the mounting grid areas are same. You have to buy the monokey plate to go with a monokey Givi model but they will mount to the rack on the bike the same way..

Saw a wish for LED headlight and turn signals. LED headlight is a no brainer. It is annoying to say the least to immediately do this update for $60.

More annoying is that LED turn signals are not DOT approved so a manufacturer cannot sell them. Euro bikes have to replace OEM LED turn signals with incandescent just to make them DOT legal. Ever notice how the USA OEM turn signals are all the same? Write your ombudsman... there is a form around here somewhere.

Have you taken a look at the dimensions of a BMW R100RS fairing? Wonder if it could be modified as you describe? Maybe someone could modify the holes for the airhead's jugs so you could slide in and mount a brick. Then make blanks for the jug holes when not needed. I have no idea how this would stack up to a Hyabusa but the r100rs is a very good fairing functionally, some say the best. I read that it was the first motorcycle fairing that was actually modeled in a wind tunnel.

I never ordered the DSR with the charge tank and I am waiting for delivery of a Diginow to Hollywood Electric and they will install it for me. Woot! I hope it is soon! Thanks for the replies.
