There's a non-obvious way to do this using the Android app only, where you can get past the default to view your progress for an existing session at a location and select a specific sttation - activating additional stations from the app does not stop existing sessions.

The easy way with one ChargePoint card and an app is to activate the first session with the app, and the second session with the card, in that order.

Having multiple cards works well on the occasional station that the app cannot communicate with the stations, or no cellular service for example. There's a small cost per additional card and you can order multiples.

Last resort you can call ChargePoint and ask them to help start the new session.

Ah thanks guys for the answers! I'll try this start with the app and then the card once I have my 6.6kW charger and can use onboard and the SCv2. If I have issues then I'll just suck it up and buy an additional card for the whole $5.

I actually purchased them (albeit for a little cheaper) but I found out they only fit the 2013 model. Based off of the pictures they should fit the S just fine. If you want to try them out, I'd be happy to send them out to you since they've been just sitting in my garage for the past year.

@Chicamungo @Electric Cowboy What's the preferred way to route inlet wires back inside the bike when using power tank cover? Should I cut a bit of plastic on the side/center to feed the wire back or should I try fitting through the left/right part of the frame? There is some space there on both sides and connectors do fit through those spaces, but the wire might be pinched if you turn handlebars too far.

I ended up drilling a couple of holes using a 1 1/2" hole saw. I drilled it right in the front black area. One up high to give enough space for the inlet to fit there, and one near the bottom to actually route the cable through. You may be able to do it using only one hole, but I didn't plan ahead.

I would advise against running it to the side. The cable is too thick and you wouldn't want that damaged or to prevent your handlebars from fully turning.

I've decided to sell the unmodified cowls I have and order a Chargetank cowl, which has its own challenges of removing the stock lock and extra cost over the Powertank cowl. I'll try to document the stock lock relocation and SCv2 install to the Chargetank cowl when it happens as best I can.

Good tip about the SCv2 control box.  It's okay about leaving your cowl on I know it's tricky to work on those fasteners, though I say my Chapman 1916 toolkit made easy work of it and readily suggest every Zero owner to have one. When / if you want to, it would be nice to see more detail about your Powertank cowl modification.

I've gotten to the point where it's easy but it's just time consuming removing it! I've probably removed it 10+ times now because of all the issues I had with waterproofing my heated grips. Once I get my 6.6kW charger, I'll take pictures of my power tank cover and post those. Unless someone needs help right away, then I can try and give some tips then.

I actually did move my lock to the side too. It's very simple, my own advice besides what's in the wiki is make sure you don't drill in to the plastic casing that's under the passenger seat. I ended up slightly clipping it with my drill. I didn't even know anything critical was under there.
