According to Energica I will have a range of 80 to 89 miles at 75 mph. I assume that is in Standard mode. Here's a photo of my back as it about to be loaded up for shipment to Texas.

I doubt it.

The Energica Models use a 11.7 kWh – lithium polymer (http://www.energicamotor.com/energica-ego-electric-motorcycle/).

The new Zero SR 2018 uses a 14.4 kWh allowing 90 miles at 70 mph (http://www.zeromotorcycles.com/zero-s/).

Although the drag of the EGO must be better than the drag of the SR, I cant imagine getting 80 miles at 75 mph with max. 11.7 kWh on the EGO.

But I did not test the EGO. Only guessing.

Cruise control is my favorite, too.

I guess you have a ZF 6.5 and all is fine.

Max. speed is 146 km/h for the 2017 Zero S ZF 6.5.

Is the link between voltage and state of charge different from 2 brick to 4?

My 4 brick (Zero SR 2016) is @ 88,8 V by 0 % stafe of charge.

I guess we should find a way to cool the battery while charging. But in order to take the uprising heat from the onboadcharger just dont use it? Maybe only for the toploading for balancing?

Since fast charging is very nice and I saw the temperature rising from 23-25 °C to 35 °C while charging from 40 to 89 % SoC with 8 kW (max 8500 Watt), how can we cool the battery while charging?

I asked Farasis about the ideal batttemp for calendar-life.

They answered:

The best way to achieve the longest calendar life is to store the battery at 30C or lower, preferably lower, (15-25C).  Also having the battery stored at ~80% SOC is best.   Just make sure the battery does not over discharge if stored for a long time (months).

does the job. But you have to program each shutdown-time if they are different.

Maybe there is a tool, where you can choose a limit of kWh to shutdown?

I found a new problem with a wet bike. The J1772 inlet filled with water and overnight in cold temperatures the water became a solid. This ice prevents a J1772 plug from inserting into the inlet. Five hours time in the sunshine was needed to melt the ice and allow a charging connection.
