Indeed the batteries of our zero do not really use their capabilities 100%.
My model zero S 2016 13kw includes 28S / 4P either without BMS 28 cells farasis x 4.20 = 117.6 volts and 29 AH X4 = 116 AH is a capacity of 117.6x116AH = 13416 watts
In reality since the beginning I measure after a full load 12064 Watts!
Either in reality a clamping of 10% of the battery, we can say that after a 100% charge with bms in reality the bms cut 90% of the battery so a very good thing for our farasis.

At what price the company GWL will sell this charger! Elcon seems to be a better compromise and probably more reliable

Yes it seems to me that he is preparing this next charger for 2019! if we could adapt to our current zero it would be great because I had 2 charger failures in 2 years is catastrophic. It seems that CAN signal connections are compatible but too thick to replace the 1300 watts.

Hello everyone
it seems to be new at GWP. A new charger is output in 3400 watts. To see if it is compatible with the 1300 watts of origin!

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Calex charger failed
« on: May 18, 2018, 09:25:13 PM »
Hello everyone I had a problem today with my original calex charger for the second time in 2 years! I put the iec c13 on the bike and a clack is heard. I tested again and my AC breaker cuts off as I connect the C13 plug to the bike.
I sent the newspaper to zero and to my dealer I wait for news!
I downloaded the MBB newspaper can you tell me if you notice something like a mass somewhere or other?
thank you
laurent

Hello everyone
I come back to you originalspacerob about the waterproof protection of power supplies.
I made a small home installation (craft) to mount that we can ride in the rain with non waterproof food (and be able to charge in the rain)

I fixed the J1772 with a flexible and durable fixation (I am building so a lot of knowledge in fixing!) I used a PU glue (SIKAFLEX PRO 11FC BLACK) I do not know if this mark exists in other continent than Europe.
It is long enough to dry 48 to 72H but once dry in the mass it is unstoppable! (80kg / cm2) can obviously be removed later by cutting the mastic
I did a test yesterday at the mall (terminal type 2 sorting 43kw 3 phases of 64A in 230Volts)I use only one phase on my cable type 1 / type 2 by connecting the EVTRICITY super fast charger in 3500 watts and the original charger is 4700 watts and the J1772 hold very well despite the weight of the cable type 1
On the opposite side where is the J1772 I have 2 C19 cable in 12AWG on one side I wired EVTRICITY 15A fast charger and on the other j1772 cable a C19 / C13 adapter that goes on the C13 connector of the bike that allows me to connect 2 chargers J1772 socket without using a home socket

I use the built-in charger on a domestic socket and the adapter is used to connect dual charger evtricity! for now I use 1 fast charger
I have 2 cable outlets in iec C19 on the 12AWG adapt allowing me to leave the 32A I did not put the picture right side of my bike because my images are too big!

Hello everyone
Has anyone ever done this kind of installation with the J1772 To Zero Adapter?
I fixed it to fit on the bottom hole of our zero right side convenient enough to charge on public terminals!
What do you think ?

bien cordialement
laurent de france ;D

Hello to everybody it is rare that I write on this forum but I wanted to say to all those who have a doubt about the life of our batteries, know and according to my calculations that our battery pack which are in 116/28 cells = 3.14 volts, actually 90% of the pack and not 100% (to have the 100% it would be necessary for the pack to be charged to 117.6 volts to get our 100%
So I think to charge 100% do not use the batteries.
Now me rolling in zero S 2016 (13kw) I charge and discharge only 30 to 70%! 40% per day are enough for me this extreme case will allow me to according to a friend engineer to make more than 40,000 loads!

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / heated handle oxford
« on: August 28, 2016, 09:32:08 PM »
Hello everyone, I am laurent de France bike with zero S 13kw (2016) that happiness with this bike. For winter I decided to install heated handle oxford but without using the converter due to warranty! I make a li-ion pack (18650 Panasonic) in 4S2P (about 14 Volts 7AH) allowing me to use the heated grips to 6 hours of use around with my little pack. someone it makes you the same thing?
Laurent
