Buy Sell Trade / Zero DS for sale
« on: February 18, 2017, 05:01:50 AM »
Looking to sell my 2016 Zero DS 9.8 in Florida. Buyer would have to arrange shipping from 34773. The bike was dropped once and other than that everything is in tip top shape. It has roughly 5k miles on it. I have changed the handlebars and added bar end mirrors. Please send me a message if you are interested. Asking 9250.

Just curious to see who's going to the 10th Anniversary event. I live in Florida and am planning on making the trip just to meet the people behind this amazing motorcycle. I believe they have the right formula for a winning company. Wish I could buy some Zero stock. I've got about 1500 miles on my DS and I am loving every mile!

When you register for the event they ask for your shirt size. I wonder if this will be the gift they are taking about or if they have something else in store for us.

I just wish I could ride in on my Zero.  :(

It came in today as I was pulling out of the driveway. Sure glad I caught the mailman as I had to sign for the package. Now I can't spend the money fast enough.  ;D

Still anxiously awaiting mine. I took delivery May 26. Is there someone I can call to inquire about its whereabouts and processing status? Any help would be great.

I have a 2016 DS 9.8. I have about 1200 miles on it and love it so far. I absolutely think I made the right decision as far as model and battery size. My commute is 50 miles round trip with a mix of freeway and city driving. If I drive very easy I get home with about 20%. If I am hammering it, I have come home with as little as 5%. I also have a free optio. To charge at work if I think I may have to run an errand after work.

I chose the DS over the S due to the riding position. I was happy on the S, but happier on the DS. Forget what the range difference on paper since this varies greatly on the rider. At first I wanted to get the larger battery then realized I would be paying a premium for "just in case." I financed the bike so for me another 3k on the loan would have been 60 more dollars per month. That is all of my realized savings from switching to electric. Having the lighter battery also means the motorcycle is about a second faster from 0-60. I also think the bike is more nimble with the lighter weight especially since the power tank would have raised the center of gravity.

Ultimately, you have to find what works for you.

What did you do to achieve such a high number?

How does Zero know who to call or mail it to? I don't remember any of those things being on my purchase agreement at the dealership. Just my name and email address. Did any of you have to contact Zero directly about it? Just want to make sure I'm not missing something since I think my dealer won't be as proactive as they could be about getting me my $1000.

Thanks for sharing the video. Looks like a very fun ride. Nothing really like that where I live in central Florida. You also pass those vehicles pretty effortlessly. Gotta love the instant acceleration on these bikes. Ride on my friend!

That looks very nice! I didn't see that when I last glanced at the website. Thank you for sharing. Nice touch to have them numbered too!!

I live in Central Florida near Orlando. We use to have a dealer here but for some reason they stopped selling Zero's. That's where I had my first test ride of a 2014 Zero S. Fast forward 2 years later the bikes were several thousand dollars cheaper and a $1000 incentive made me pull the trigger. I ended up getting a DS because I liked the riding position better. Very have so far!

My closest dealer was 110 miles away so I decided to tow my new toy home rather than try to push this thing to the limit. So happy about my purchase.

I watched several of your videos on YouTube. Enjoyed them all. Actually just ordered a DS yesterday. Pretty excited. I was on the fence between the S and DS and this video helped me decide. Looking forward to more of your videos.
