Do you have a power tank? I ran into "everything on the dash flashing" charging error a few times early on. I have a 2016 SR w/PT.

Ended up being a combo of a few things - firmware, and the BMS getting used the main pack+power-tank.

Happened twice after the firmware upgrade, haven't had an issue for the last 5 months.

I usually leave it plugged in.

I had error codes 25/57/49, the same contactor error, and the bike wouldn't move.

Hollywood Electrics (Harlan and Bobby) worked remotely with Zero to upgrade and resolve.
I got firmware version 20?, if I remember correctly. No hardware swaps needed.

On a side note - mine wouldn't charge past 99% before the upgrade.

I had this happen on my 2016 SR.  The battery packs (i have a power tank) had newer firmware then the controller, from the factory no less. After the upgrade, no issues so far.

I'm on PG&E as well, under time-of-day usage for my PHEV.

I use a Intermatic DT620CL 15 Amp, which has been pretty solid and keeps me in the 10PM to 8AM sweet spot.

Just a heads up, if you attempt to review the events after setting them the unit will flip the on/off setting to the alternate.

That's actually really good to know.

 Power comes in a little hot (121v, but very stable) where I live, but no issues with the bike or car.

I've also noticed that the manufacturer's charging estimates seem to be conservative.

I'm a new Zero owner (2016 SR w/PT) and I was curious if anyone has looked into this?

I work with a lot of computer and AV gear, and clean power is a must. For computer systems/servers I use double conversion UPS units. AV gear gets non-sacrificial power conditioning, mostly Furman.

Are the on/off board chargers built to deal with standard grid fluctuations and/or extreme conditions?
Has anyone tested charging efficiencies with these devices in-line?

2016 Zero SR 13.0 + Power Tank.

Mainly commuting and general cruising.
Had a minor firmware issue just after I got the bike, but Harlan and team gave me a loaner (2015 SR) while the bike was being worked on, and got the issue resolved. I picked up the bike on Friday, and everything seems good.

Previously had regular motorcycles, all 600s - Honda '02 F4i and '04 RR.
Range meets 99% of my needs.

Love the raw acceleration, and the awesome simplicity of charging.
