I have the same problem with people that ask me how I like the bike and all I can think of is how loud and discussing my brakes sound almost every time I stop. its something that I would not tell them at first but now I let them know about how loud the brakes are and they are so suppressed and said they have never heard of anything like that on a new bike and they always say, its going to be cover under warrantee right? Mine had the high dollar brake goop applied with no luck at all. when I bought the motorcycle I always figured that it would turn heads for how quite it is but they look at me when I'm coming next to them at a stop light sounding like a semi truck that's coming to a stop with bad brakes. I just don't get it. I love my motorcycle but its hard not to get mad when it sounds so cheap. I have the 2016 SR

I also have that terrible squealing nose on my 2016 SR at 3000 miles. I am very disappointed that ZERO has not addressed this long ago. When I'm driving my Zero down the road I'm so proud of my purchase until I have to stop and let everybody next to me know that my motorcycle has braking problems and it also makes me feel like I'm drive a cheap bike. I love my Zero but as much as I paid for it I'm very disappointed that I have to hear this every time when I have to come to a stop.

Doug S  I agree  with everything your said. so true and so correct. I have an SR and if I was counting on my loud pipes to keep me out of trouble I would be In a lot of trouble. I feel so much safer with my quite motorcycle then with any of my 8 gas bikes I rode for years.

It sounds to me that you are right on track with what I have been hearing. I hope you love yours as much as I do ;D.

Has any of you had a chance to use this map to show the Zero family. I think its pretty cool and hope that everybody uses it that has a Zero motorcycle that way we can see it grow over the years.

Eplas,
Does your SR have the tank? because being cold it seems that you are doing good on the distance. My last trip last night with a passenger it was 29 miles and I had 74% left but I have the tank and it was in town driving.

I just checked mine and it shows 14.49 for a 2016SR with tank at 100% charged.

Richard, you made me laugh  ;D a lot while I was reading yours because I could picture you doing this 8 times.  Its great to know what we need to do if we ever get into that bind. KrazyEd I will try that setting with the regen to see what happens at this time I have mine set at 90% and I got it the where I can time my stopping to the point of not using my brakes to the very end like around 8mph. one thing that I like about that is, I don't think I will every have to replace me brake pads lol or not.... my son wants me to do exactly the setting that you talk about so I'm looking forward trying it.

I just got my 2016 SR with a tank about a month ago and my app shows 14.49 so I created a ticket in the same app and they also told me that it should be around 14.0. so it sounds like to me we are both good when it comes to our power capacity. I got my GoPro mounted on my helmet but have not had it out yet with it so we will see what happens with that.

I think that it is the cold because I have been riding an electric scooter now for 5 years and that is very common with the electric scooters. so I think you should be good when it starts to warm up. The next time I go out riding I will see what I get per percentage just for fun and will let you know. My next 3 days I will have off and I will be out riding  ;D with a smile on my face thinking how lucky I am in owning a Zero.....

That sounds about right to me. I have a 2016SR with tank and with the weather around 40 I get about the same. but when I do my own custom setting and set it at 15 torque and 100% on both braking and regen with temps around 65 and being very careful on starting nice and easy with all in town driving I have seen 208 miles on my the estimated number that I get on my display and so far its been very accurate with every fill up. What I have figured out so far with the little testing that I have done around town is. the slower the speed with the least amount of stops will give you the highest distance. I did a small test around town at was only going 25 mph and my estimated mileage was climbing so fast that I think it would have been well over 300 miles but I ran out of time to get the total distance to give you a good number. I hope this helps a little.

Yes I agree with more options for what you want to see on the screen. I just got my mount to hold my iPhone 6 plus so we will see how that works but its been kind of cold up here in Las Vegas so not riding much. :(  Are you all getting time to ride in the winter time? or is it just me that just cant handle to cold.

I will have to get the Led type that I am using for you. I don't have any optics problems at all in fact its better then what I had with the stock light. love it :)
