Thanks for your comment MajorMojor. Im right on the edge of buying the FXS or saving a bit more for the SR due to the range. My commute to work is less than 5 miles but I like a fun ride every now and again...60 miles before a charge is real close....

--Does anyone know if the SR can go up/down a normal size curb at slow speeds without bottoming out?

---new headlight style for fx/fxs...possibly update the headlights on the other models as well.
---+1 for a more powerful onboard charger, maybe something similar to the quick charger integrated on the bike as standard.
---keep upping the torque/hp specs(faster is always better). Some of those other E-bikes got some crazy specs.
---lower price
---Graphene battery (I wish...)

So im close to dropping some cash on the zero FXS, but before I do im curious to hear some input from the Fxs owners out there? 
--how has your experience been with the fxs/ any regrets?
--what is the actual range you are getting in your daily use of it?
--what type of riding do you use it for? (type of commuting etc...)
--any input you would like to add about the Zero FXS on anything will be much appreciated.

anyone have an answer for this question?

----Im considering an FXS, but the fee's bring the bike around $13,260 (USD) out the door. Of course there is the tax credit to take from this price, but that will not be reimbursed until the end of the year.  Does this price sound about right for an FXS to anyone??? so much more money than the 10k or under I thought I would have to spend for the cheapest zero...----

In the link above is a review where the guy testing the 2016 zero fxs says it doesn't have the same "aggressive snap" as the 2015 zero fx he tested in the passed does... for those of you who have been privileged to ride both the FX and the FXS would you say this is true? The reviewer thinks the lack of kick in power is possibly because of the new IPM motor... Do you think that is why zero didn't add the new IPM motor into the 2016 fx (because it mellowed down some of the excitement from the original motor.)

Which did you feel is overall funner to ride, the zero FX or zero FXS? Im trying to decide on which to buy.... (I just wish the FXS could do a proper POWER wheelie.)

Thats true but the question is will the new FXS IPM motor be worth the extra effort in changing the FXS back into the FX...

don't worry about which battery pack size just pick a 2016 Zero motorcycle platform.

It looks like the 2016 FX doesn't have the IPM motor...Why?  If i wanted the newer motor on the FX, would it be possible/worth it to get the FXS and put dual sport tires on it? How well will the smaller tires work for off road trail riding? Any dual sport tire recommendations for the FXS size tires?  Does anyone think the IPM motor would make a big difference for the FX and its dual sport uses?  FX or FXS?????

Does anyone think the FXS will have trouble doing Wheelie's as well as the FX, due to the smaller front tire?
