Has anyone seen if zero will cover faded plastics under warranty?  My 2015 is garaged, and it gets parked in the shop at work, so it has barely sat outside at all and the plastics are badly faded to a grey color.

My 2015 seems waterproof.

I think for the size and weight and cost of an extra battery that doing a DIY 2-5kw charger that will use a standard ev charger might get more range per hour than an extra battery. With something you may be able to package lower down on the bike than the tail. 42 lbs of battery will feel fairly significant IMO. I love the way the bike feels with a single battery and see even the second battery slightly crippling in the dirt(heavy front end)

On my fx I had it drop from 12% to 2% suddenly, then quickly to 0% and it shut off and had to catch a ride a couple miles from home.  Outside temp was under 40 degrees. When warm out I can go down to 0% and still ride another mile or two slowly.

Where are you located?  Looks like northern Colorado?

This may not be the place for my rant but I wouldn't talk any friend I know into owning a streetbike without buying a dirt bike and getting good riding one.  Teaches so many important control skills only encountered on the public road under adverse conditions. When loss of traction, gaining of traction, low speed and high speed "curveballs" are the norm and your reactions are trained to handle them without thinking, all of that transfers to your ability to ride safe on public roads where the obstacles are 200hp,3000lb rubber wheeled boulders rolling next to you ready to smash you.

I have encountered wheelspin without planning on it on the zero but nothing I wouldn't expect the bike capable of, or anything unmanageable. 

I am wanting to change the front brake lever on my 2015 fx to a shorter one.  Does anyone know what other bikes use a lever that will work.
