Well, mayby I buy that new onboard charger if its not that expensive..

I allways keep my zero in warm garage.
 I bought my fx from germany in 2014. There was no dealer in Finland until this year, but I was lucky I have had only small issues with my bike so far..
 I have been driving on snow and ice with spike tires and now its summer so lots of fun with wheelies and stuff..

 Weird it gives full voltage for multimeter tough..

I have been using my elcon for a while now because onboard charger is not working. When I connect charger it clicks but it fails to start charging,on dash the charge indicator blinks red light. Now I was checking with multimeter and charger gives correct voltage and fuse is ok.. 
 What might be the problem? Anyone had similar problems?
 I post some pics on facebook now also.

 It is little hard to find under the cover.
   phildaniels , I would change the fuse first. Just a tought to check the spring under the fuse, mayby it is just a little weak and extract in cold weather? 😄

Motor is last thing to worry
 I think the biggest concern is the torq that rips the tires or that you get "monday" bike and there is bms or some other issues with it. 
 
 

Any similar like Elcon Quick Charger? Or easy DIY?
 It is a bit pricey to order from US to EU.. 1500€ with tax and shipping:/

"On page 1.8 from the Owner’s Manual you will find the parameters that might influence the range of the vehicle. However the experience that you describe below is basically not mentioned on that specific page. The power algorithm that is notice by the Customer is to prevent damage on the Battery, thus to perform correctly over the lifetime. This embedded firmware, the algorithm, allows the Battery to discharge quicker from fully charged to half way down. If the State of Charge (SOC) drops below 45-50% the power is cutting back. Although I don’t know all the ins- and outs about the algorithm, you will notice a significant drop in performance below the 30 %. Basically the algorithm protects the Battery from quick discharge at low energy level, to guarantee the lifetime. This is something I personally noticed riding a 15MY FX."

 I had a long drive and drove first time down to 5%. This time I didn´t notice any power drop untill 50%, charger was plugged 24hr before this run and the previous run was just out of charger.
 Zero is not gonna leave you halfway easy, there is no horry when you are under 30%
 Now when I know this is normal behaviour I dont mind the power drop. Good thing there is solution for this, Quick charger is more significant thing to buy if I want to drive more with full power 

I really love the easy wheelies with my FX. I was driving today and made my first a run with one battery only and I had to turn back after few kilometers, feels very lame and no wheelies with one pack:/
  With to batteries it feels very agressive 100-70%, and there really is the first power drop.
    I would really like to change some parameters on controller, has enyone any experiense?
