I have a 2020 SR/S and get Error code 38 after every charge.  The bike runs fine, but looking at the red triangle constantly lit is not great.  I can clear it, but it returns after the next charge session.
Zero requesting the logs, but for some reason their ap won't work.

How timely this thread is!
Six weeks ago I get hit on my 2014 SR with 16k miles. Thank  God I wasn't hurt badly.

Anyway, the frame got bent, so the insurance company totaled the bike. It did move forward under its own power, but  I certainly wouldn't want it "fixed" after all that. They had a hard time appraising it, but I was satisfied with the $10k value.

If I purchase a new one, the adjuster said they would need to cover sales tax on that new model, but not the full amount. I thought everything so far sounds fair and equitable, and I did get a full refund on my Schuberth helmet.

Aside from all that, there is a $2k rebate on a new 2017 showroom SR, and I like the improvements on it over the 2014 (paint quality, abs, tires, Showa suspension, red coil spring and less flimsy storage basket).

Ride Safe guys, and wear protective  clothing!

I just had my shop install a cyclops led headlight, and now I get EEE after the 999 on the boot up sequence.
Its a 2014 SR that turned 11k miles today!

Its a 2014, 11000 trouble-free miles, until now. I don't know if these series of events have anything to do with the bikes behavior, but here goes.
A non-Zero shop put new Michelin tires on the bike, front and rear. It ran perfectly for 100-plus miles over several days.
Then I rode through some light rain, which has happened a few times in 11000 miles. Dried off the bike and put it in the garage.
NOW, I get a creaking/snapping/cracking sound from the rear, accompanied by a moderate and disconcerting twitching also in the rear. All the bolts and everything look ok, but what do I know. The dealer is across the state (Ohio), 220 miles away.
Any suggestions?

My 2014 SR has 7700 miles, and the Fast Ace suspension is not that great. I tried unsuccessfully to make  adjustments to front and back, and it still rides way too harsh and jerky over uneven pavement (and there is lots of it here in NE Ohio). The seat needs more padding as well. The 2015/16 was supposed to address this problem, but I have yet been able to test ride one.
My advice...get the SR...but ride it on a rough road first to see if it is compliant enough for your back!

You might want to think twice about any windscreens. Every screen I have ridden behind has added a lot of wind noise and buffetting.  That will disturb the tranquil ride ZERO is noted for.

Thats really fantastic! 

After 2 months of ownership, I fineally set my custom mode to the parameters you suggested...no regen on coasting, and 100%  on braking.  Boy does that SR like to coast!  I think my range around town has increased tremendously, but need more practice in coasting up to an intersection or traffic light.

I bought a dealer demo SR in early August and have 3300 miles on it now.  I did recieve a tiny discount, but the dealer trucked it to my home (200 miles away) and gave me a free ZERO t shirt.

My biggest complaint so far is the brittle ride, so I may upgrade to a 2015 with the new suspension if I feel the ride is smoother. For the additional $350 the 2015's cost, I think the upgrades are well worth it. Assuming you could find a 2014 SR, the discount would have to be substantial before I would buy the older one.

I will try and set my parameters today.
6 weeks old and comming up on 2500 miles my SR.  I was detailing it yesterday, and the "R" from ZERO was ready to fall off, so I had to reglue it back on. I also noticed the "E" getting loose as well.
Check your letters, gentlemen.

If it were the rear shock, wouldn't I be able to duplicate the squeak by pushing firmly down on the parked bike to replicate the noise?  Like I said, that seat is loose and poorly fitting around the framework, so I will try both parts to see what I can find.

While I have the seat off, maybe I can add a thick layer of memory foam for more cushioning.

And the seat seems to be comming loose. Whenever I hit a big bump, a loud squeak comes from somewhere; I assume its the seat since the fit of it is so poor.  Besides  that, the rough ride and far-from-comfortable seat,  I'm pretty happy with the bike. I'm trying to take the smoothest roads when possible!

Just love the seamless, effortless acceleration.
