Energica / Re: New Energica dealer on the east coast of US.

Long time lurker here!  Found this forum back when we were first visiting the idea of becoming a Zero dealer I believe.

I'm Sev, and ultrarnr gave me an opportunity to take a spin on his brand new Eva, which obviously completely sold me on why these bikes should be available to everyone in our showroom.  I now get to stare longingly at our pair of demo bikes and have been taking every chance I get to throw a few miles on each of them!  Charged the Eva recently at a CCS station, and 24 minutes was all it took from 9% back to full.  If anyone of you have questions about the Energica bikes, shoot me a message!

I would not recommend towing any ICE motorcycle using this particular method.  If you check in to the owner's manual of almost all ICE motorcycles, you will find they recommend against coasting in neutral with the motorcycle shut off, the reason is as follows.

Due to the transmission being lubricated by engine oil, and proper oiling only occurring while the engine is running, you may very quickly shed any lubricating capabilities of the small amount of oil left in the transmission by spinning it at a high rate of speed without any actual oil movement through the system.  Effectively, the transmission is being forced to spin dry, and for obvious reasons could be irreparably damaged very quickly.

Please don't use a tow dolly for a motorcycle with the driveline still connected!
