I had the same issue with my 2014 Zero FX 5.7.  At around 800 miles it stopped charging, and just clicked repeatedly when you plugged it in, like a faulty relay.  The bms board had been throwing errors, and was replaced, but didn't help the charging issue.  After a few months in the shop..zero sent a new 'ccu' board (charging controller unit) and it has worked fine for the last 200 miles.

Good luck, although at this point I'd request a new bike from Zero, or through the lemon law if they refuse.  Lemons happen, and it should be sent back to zero to be diagnosed and studied.

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / zero FX quick charger?
« on: October 01, 2014, 01:26:12 AM »
Picked up a 2014 Zero FX 5.7 earlier this year.  Spent most of the summer in the shop with a broken ccu board, but is working well now.  While it was in, I ordered a quick charger from Zero, and it came with an Anderson connector attached to it.

My question. ..there is no corresponding connector on the bike, was there an install kit my dealer was supposed to order with it?

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / 2014 FX strange warning flash
« on: May 19, 2014, 08:21:56 AM »
Just picked up a 2014 fx 5.7 (awesome), and after about 60 miles it started to flash the warning light and green circle light simultaniously 4 times.  It repeats the 4 flashes every few seconds whenever the bike is plugged in or on.  There are no warnings in the android app, and the bike seems to be running normally.  Anyone know what it is trying to say?

I also noticed the horn doesn't work..I'm guessing they are related, maybe a wiring fault warning?
