I have an Agni 95R motor that was on my 2010 DS. It had about 10,000 miles on it before the brushes vaporized. I replaced the brushes and brush holders ($270) but have not had to put the motor back in the bike; I have a replacement motor that Zero provided me that I have been using. I tested the rebuilt motor by hooking it to the leads and the motor did what it was supposed to but it had no load and I am not an expert. This motor has not been "fully refurbished".
You can find motors and parts at Jozztek in the UK, that is where I bought the parts and the company is very good. New 95R motors are selling at $1800 and refurbished are worth $1200 (plus shiiping).
With the description provided above you may put this motor in the abused category but that is up to you.
