If you ride conservatively and use the regen to brake as you suggested with lightly pressing the brake lever, I see a difference. Wind is a big factor too. My SR seems to go forever if I keep it under 40 mph and conciously use brake regen.
The actual 0-100km/h time i recorded with my Zero S 2012.5 is 6.2 sec. and 16.23 sec 1/4 mile This was with a simple apps that is using the gps and accelerometer together.
It also give you a graph of the acceleration.

That way I can get 30-60 times as well to get a better sense of the practical value of the 25T sprocket over the 30T sprocket (in the SR).
What is great about those electric bikes is that you can always run with maximum throttle and nobody will be bothered and the bike has no problem doing it all the time hehe

Am I too big for this bike? Should I expect any noticeable reduction in performance(range or speed) due to my weight?
Is there any negotiating in price with these bikes, or should I pretty much expect to pay the retail sticker price?
