Baffling. A company like this that sells high end niche products live and dies by customer service. The CEO of zero must have his head up his ass if he allows this kind of nonsense to be acceptable at his company.

Funny. I also bought a Honda nc700x with dct after researching elec bikes. Seriously considered a zero S but the range just wasn't there for me as I routinely need 150-200 miles highway round trip. I love my Honda but still pine for a zero with better range and onboard rapid charge.

Many of us are fed up with bogus global warming claims being used as an excuse to pillage the taxpayer. There are no taxpayer subsidies like the solyndra debacle to oil companies, there just aren't. Let EV vehicles stand on their own and the market support them. I also won't ever buy a GM product and I despise the big banks that sucked my money in bailouts so I'm consistent.

No offense guys but I do t want to see zeros taking 4 hours to charge hogging tesla stations. As someone with a tesla order being done I want access to charging as it was designed--fast. If the bike conformed to tesla charging standard it would probably take 15 min to fully charge

Well I definitely won't be doing service myself. It sounds like a 2015 zero will be in my future. Bummed I will have to wait another year but it sounds like that makes the best sense

One other concern:  the zero models don't have abs - never had that on my old bike obviously but safety is of course more important now in my older years.  Is this missing feature a real concern. And do you see zero adding such a feature in the near future?

It's hard because nearest dealer is a three hour drive so I can't easily just get a feel for the electric bike. How does the ds do with a passenger on back?
