I see on the Energica sign up page that previous locations (San Fran. and LA) were "sold out."
I plan on going to Bear Mountain, but does this mean you have to pay for demo ride?

Hi. I am posting here rather than in the "Other Electric Motorcycles" category because I was hoping to meet Zero owners.
All I know is that it happens at Bear Mtn...don't know exact time and location. I will submit request for demo ride today

Zero Motorcycles Forum | 2013+ / Ready for FX, but dealer wary

My plan is to purchase the 2014 FX. I don't think advancement in battery tech (in the coming months) will be compelling enough
to warrant a wait for the 2015 models.
After reading many owner posts, it is clear to me that the quality/competence of dealer service is essential. I see that specific dealers
have been mentioned by name, so I guess it is ok to do so. The dealer I have in mind is called "Carbon Negative" in Brooklyn, NY.
I live in NYC ~ 7 miles away, so this would be ideal! According to their FB page they have been selling Zero for several years.
Given their experience, can I assume they are well versed in ev componentry? I know this is a long shot, but I am hoping there are
some Zero owners/forum participants in the NY area not identified on the Frodus map.
So....anyone familiar with this dealer? Btw, the last bike I owned was stolen in 1990. It was a Kaw. GPX 750. Loved it.
I can finally forgive my bike thieves. One of the reasons for choosing the FX - I will keep it in my apartment overnight.

you would still have to pay for a service plan for the tracking device, no? Going along with Richard's idea of "High Voltage" warning stickers, how about
decal warning that "micro GPS on board " or something like that (without actually having one.)
Personally, I am partial to the biohazard symbol. It has a V-twin "tribal art"look to it.
